Morning. I'm doing well, reading an old chain story from the past, so I can tie off the loose end that's been anchored since 2008.

I am. I was raised on my parents' dairy farm and then various ones until I was 16, then moved to a rural town, then later back to the country.

No, it's hump day. This is the middle, or hump, of the 3 day week. :D

Yesterday was hump day too, since it was "honorary Wednesday" owing to the fact that it was 3 days before the weekend.

Tomorrow will be Hump Day as well, since it is actually Wednesday. But I also will declare tomorrow "honorary Friday". :D

My morning started off a lot earlier than it had to. No school for kids, so I could have slept in, but the spouse's alarm clock woke me, up so I stayed up. A story idea popped into my head, so I figured I'd write. Came up stairs, to see a big note taped to one of the laptops from my son. Seems he unknowingly exposed the laptop to a virus - Yay. He thought he was updating adobe, which is a reasonable thing, adobe is always updating shit. *sigh*

Unfortunately it wasn't adobe and I've run my anti-virus programs and spyware and all that crap and still can't rid myself of the stuff, so now I'm restoring it back to it's original settings, because even the system restore time stamp wouldn't work. It's not a huge deal, we only use these laptops for tiny things, a few games, but nothing super important, it's just time consuming. My kids' Ipod and Ipad stuff is stored on the "cloud" so their files are protected - and I'm old school so almost all my files are paper and store in a file box downstairs. It's just an unwanted hassle.

So why it's been doing it's thing I used another laptop to write my new story, I've got 6100 + words as of 10:20 so I'm pretty happy. Gonna keep pluggin' away and eventually the one daughter that is going to help make pies will get up and I'll have to disappear off and on.

How is your day going?

Well, I had to come in to work this morning for a meeting that lasted a grand total of 20 min, and ended up with exactly the outcome I predicted...:rolleyes:

I'm getting ready to leave, but thought I'd start a few programs to run over the long weekend.

And I just want to know two things: what's the story about and what kind of pie?

Interracial - 2 pecan/caramel/apple pie, 2 pumpkin, 2 lemon meringue (didn't I cover this yesterday?)
