Like so many others, I'm seeking an editor.

I recently submitted my first story here and was rather surprised to find that it was rejected.

The reason I was given for the rejction was:

* Did I check to make sure everything was spelled correctly?
* Were there any serious errors in punctuation or formatting (i.e. submitted in all capital letters, capitalization errors, etc.)?


I'm quite certain that the spelling is alright, and the formatting matches what I've read here. I'm at a loss as to what I should change.

I figured the best thing to do would be to find an editor who can give me a hand. I've messaged several editors already but only received one reply, they were too busy.


It's a 4500 word story involving non-consent/reluctance and spanking between a teenage boy and the lady next door.

After receiving a breakup E-mail from "her boy" Toni Nelson is "working out some frustration" when Paul the boy next door jumps her fence to retrieve his basketball.

Toni takes control of the situation and threatens to turn him in as a peeping tom unless he agrees to let her punish him.

You may get a better response if you switch on your Private Messages.

Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

If you haven't made clear that Paul is over 18, the story will be rejected for underage too.

From what you posted, it looks like at least one of your problems is not using enough commas.

Righto, now that I've made a bit of an ass of myself. You can contact me via my literotica profile, or PM me now that that is turned on.

If I haven't used enough commas in my story, it's because I worry, about, using too many, commas that is. Some time has passed since my last English comp class, hence the need for an editor who is mindful of such things.
