Ok, Since men almost always achieve orgasm from sex (whether quickie or otherwise) I've always been interested in a woman's perspective of the benefits a quickie (outside of a forbidden public sex setting where time is an issue) .

Since many women can't achieve orgasm from intercourse alone, and a quickie leaves out most of the foreplay, the quickie would seem to me to be less appealing from the female perspective. (as opposed to longer encounters). Is this true?

I've never turned down a quickie....

....and it's interesting you ask this because this just happened to me yesterday - my SO was late in from work for a variety of reasons. Recently I've managed to lose my keys (I think I left it in the States somewhere) and I keep forgetting to go get a new one, so he'd left the key with me as I'm off yesterday and today. says who? I have that same perception too from popular myth, but has anyone studied that? I for one went 10 years with extreme difficulty achieving orgasm due to medication...now off medication I still have trouble...went at it for hours the other day, partner I was with was having trouble getting off too he second time after she realized I hadnt gotten off...pressure on a guy to "get off" is just as debilitating and as likely to cause an increase in the anorgasmic 'problem' as it is in women.

That said nothing wrong with a quickie (or a long-ie) with or without an orgasm. Sex is worth doing even if one doesnt achieve (fails to have an) orgasm. Gaw, even the phrases that we use to describe anorgasmia are insulting!..

I guess one important point is the definition of a quickie. Women aren't necessarily slow to orgasm. They just tend to take longer and often don't orgasm from penis in vagina sex. If you count things like masturbation, fingering, tribadism, oral sex, fisting, toys, and fucking + clitoral stimulation, there's very little practical difference in potential orgasm speed between men and women. Guys can orgasm without having their cocks stimulated, too, but it's pretty unlikely they'll outrace a woman orgasming from clitoral stimulation. If you're worried that quickies are unfair to women, just throw out the idea of "foreplay" and try out a variety of sex acts as the main event in place of penis in vagina. Even with a busy schedule, there should be time to provide your partner with some kind of favor and they can repay when you want some. Maybe next time your partner gets home from that big, overtime shift, you should kiss their privates good night, too. Sexual equality doesn't mean both partners have to get something every time. I love quickies! It's not that they're more or less appealing than longer sessions, just different and a fun part of the mix.
