Obama Spoke About "Fast & Furious" Before Holder Claimed He Knew

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/vi...t__furious_before_holder_claimed_he_knew.html

May 3, 2011:

ISSA: When did you first know about the program officially I believe called Fast and Furious? To the best of your knowledge, what date?

ERIC HOLDER, U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL: I'm not sure of the exact date, but I probably heard about Fast and Furious for the first time over the last few weeks.

March 2011:

BARACK OBAMA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: There have been problems, you know. I heard on the news about this story that -- Fast and Furious, where allegedly guns were being run into Mexico, and ATF knew about it, but didn't apprehend those who had sent it.

Eric Holder has -- the attorney general has been very clear that he knew nothing about this. We had assigned an I.G., inspector general, to investigate it.

It begs the question, how did the president know about this in March, and how did the president know the attorney general knew nothing about this in March, when the attorney general says in May he just learned about it a couple weeks ago?

This is a worst scandal than Watergate! Not only were laws deliberately broken for a political end (to gin up Gun Control) U.S. citizens were murdered as a consequence of the criminal activity the Justice department promoted.

Need I say more about the millions of tax payer $ that was used.

How long will it take for anyone in Mexico who's family member was murdered by a drug cartell thug to figure out they can sue the U.S. for damages? What a mess. I eventually see billions going to mexico over this.

Congress needs to get tt eh bottom of this, We need a special prosecutor & the guilty need to be held accountable. I don't care if they''re a Dem or Rep. If it's proved Obama knew then he needs to be impeached too.

That's not important, did you hear about Cain's 9.9.9 plan!!!!

"Grenade-walking" part of "Gunwalker" scandal

There's a new twist in the government's "gunwalking" scandal involving an even more dangerous weapon: grenades.

CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson, who has reported on this story from the beginning, said on "The Early Show" that the investigation into the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)'s so-called "Fast and Furious" operation branches out to a case involving grenades. Sources tell her a suspect was left to traffic and manufacture them for Mexican drug cartels.

Police say Jean Baptiste *******, a U.S. citizen, was a veritable grenade machine. He's accused of smuggling parts for as many as 2,000 grenades into Mexico for killer drug cartels -- sometimes under the direct watch of U.S. law enforcement.

Law enforcement sources say ******* could have been prosecuted in the U.S. twice for violating export control laws, but that, each time, prosecutors in Arizona refused to make a case.

Grenades are weapons-of-choice for the cartels. An attack on Aug. 25 in a Monterrey, Mexico casino killed 53 people.

There are six key accusations against the BATFE and DOJ made by BATFE whistleblowers and other sources within the Federal Government:

1. That BATFE instructed US gun dealers to proceed with questionable and illegal sales of firearms to suspected gunrunners, knowing that the guns were going to Mexican drug cartels.

2. That BATFE allowed, and even assisted in those guns crossing the US border into Mexico to “boost the numbers” of American civilian market firearms seized in Mexico, thereby providing the justification for more firearm restrictions on American citizens (particularly the upcoming blatantly unconstitutional UN Small Arms Treaty) and more power and money for BATFE.

3. That BATFE intentionally kept Mexican authorities in the dark about the operation, even over objections of their own agents.

4. That weapons that the BATFE let “walk” to Mexico were involved in the deaths of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and ICE agent Jaime Zapata, as well as at least hundreds of Mexican citizens.

5. That at least since the shooting death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry on 14 December, the Obama administration is engaged in a well coordinated cover-up of the facts behind what has come to be known as “the Gunwalker scandal”.

6. That at the highest level, the Obama administration either ordered, or directly approved the BATFE policy of promoting illegal weapons trafficking in order to create a significant retail gun smuggling reality that had not previously existed, and that this policy was intentionally implemented to support the deliberately fabricated lie that, “90% of Mexican drug cartel weapons come from US retail sources”, with the objective of justifying a planned unconstitutional gun control strategy against American citizens.

The Direct Commercial Sales Program is a State Department operation run from the Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, independent of BATFE’s Project Gunrunner. Through this program, it is alleged by Phil Jordan, a former CIA operative and one-time leader of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s El Paso Intelligence Center, and Robert Plumlee, a former CIA contract pilot, among others, that the Obama administration is running guns to the violent Zetas cartel (see US News Article of July 13, 2011) through the direct commercial sale of military grade weapons. Because this program is subject to national security restrictions, information is largely classified, and it has for the most part remained off-limits to media coverage.

Yet conspicuous by its absence in this report, and all other public BATFE reports, are any more than 20 minor arrests or recommendations for prosecution, and only one single jail sentence directly attributable to the well over 2 thousand weapons that BATFE is known to have deliberately authorized, and/or directly assisted in illegally “walking” via known or suspected criminal straw purchasers into Mexico over a period of more than two years.

Is there really any more need for actual evidence to prove any more guilt of the specified targets?

I mean, it's all already there, right?

Then, why is due process needed for these American traitors...

...when justice by drone is evidently good enough for others?

It's all hearsay, nothing in writing. :D
