The "Official" 2011 Story Ideas Board Halloween contest thread:

Hi and welcome. With today being the 24th day of September, and the Literotica Halloween contest beginning on October 1, I figured I'd start a place where we can all "drop our ideas into a hat" as it were instead of having several threads and possibly "losing" one if not bumped on a regular basis.

Literotica's rules and guidelines regarding this contest are as follows:

Halloween
themes: scary stuff, costumes, Halloween traditions (trick-or-treating, etc.), etc.
starts: October 1
closes: October 22
winners announced: October 29

I, personally, would love to see ideas centered around the origins of the holiday. Anything from Gaelic traditions of Samhain, to the old Roman Catholic introduction of Michaelmas (which was short lived and not favored), to modern takes (Ie: neopagans or wiccans) on the old festivals more so than just modern day trick-or-treating and costume parties. (Though, I'm sure there are many other authors and readers who loves those themes too!)

That said, I would like this thread to be a place for any and all Haloween-centric ideas. Succubi, Incubi, demons, ghosts, zombies, or any of the old horror movie "monsters".

Are there themes/ideas that have not been tackled much, or at all, at Lit that you'd like to see in a story? Are you an author with a vague idea and need a little nudge to help you? Come on in and post!

Well, with today being the 26th already, I doubt I'll be submitting a story. The point is to have it done and ready by the "submissions accepted on" date and I just don't think I'm there!

Please share, though, E. I'm hoping that this thread will at least inspire others.

Hobby Lobby will also start Christmas early. Usually July. But they do tend to keep a two-aisle Halloween and general fall/Thanksgiving display up as well.

Walgreens put out Halloween candy two weeks ago. The grocery stores did it last week. Christmas and Thanksgiving stuff goes up on November 1st. I guess we are slow here in Arizona.

In the past, I had some "title ideas" that never developed stories... Such as Samhain Night... And back in 2006 (I think) I had a cross dressing wife-pegs-husband story called A Game of Tricks and Treats... But it's been a while since I've written anything for Halloween.

How about a husband and wife go to a party dressed as each other. He's completely dolled up with make-up, wig, fake boobs and in the sexiest outfit he could fit in. She's got her hair tucked up under a fedora and has a strap-on dildo under her trousers to make a realistic bulge. They spend the entire party completely in character as each other.

But as they get more and more liquored up, they start emulating the worst of each others' traits: he starts acting like the whiny bitch that the wife really is. She starts getting bossy, rude, and mean to him, just like he does to her on normal days. They end up in a big fight in the car on the way home.

Back inside, their fight continues, with slapping, tossing of lamps, etc. Eventually the end up rolling on the floor clawing at each other. That's when they realize how aroused they are, and she takes him with the strap-on. They both love it, and spend all night fucking in character as each other.

The next day.... are they back to normal? Have they learned to be nicer to each other? Or do they "get stuck" in each others' personalities for the long term?

And, of course, reading on within your idea, they didn't have the life lesson on how to treat each other better, etc.

I live in a house that has been haunted for as long as I can remember, and that's saying something since my grandparents' had owned it starting in 1951. I could write several non-fiction/non-erotic stories, which I might do, but I could always use the legends and stories which have been told about my city and county.

LOTS of ghost stories that DO involve an element of sex. Gotta love the Dutch and English and their forbidding inter-mingling with the Mohawks. And they say the Catholics were bad!

Can I find the time?

I'm not too up on the Gaelic traditions or true roots of Halloween. Would this involve druids and naiads and the like?

I'll work on a demon or ghost story if I can find the time to finish it by then. I was originally thinking a partier encounter, but after reading the thread here, that seems kind of mundane.

I'm working on a full blown novel that touches on some erotic lycanthropy. However, when it's done, I'm going to try to really publish it.

Not sure if I'll get to it in a way that will do it justice, but was thinking about a mousy intern fiddling in the occult to get back at her bitchy boss. She possesses her body and in doing so not only messes up her boss' professional and personal life, but allows her - the quiet intern - to live out some of her own sexual fantasies that will come easier with possessing a hot shell of a body. And of course, the spell has a reset, 'everything goes back to normal' clause after a certain duration has passed.
