I don't know how you can even get near a danger situation with all the fly by wire and overrides and sensors and computer controls these days.

When I was building the new Mile High Stadium they finally got two utility elevators running. All the controls were not wired so there were two way radios at each floor to call an operator to the floor.

The two operators running the elevators never changed elevators. One elevator was in use constantly. The elevator that was not used much was run by an operator that had killed a union IronWorker years before.

(Sacramento)— The California Department of General Services announced today that Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. has signed legislation (AB 1272) authorizing DGS to dispose of excess state-owned property.
“This bill allows DGS to follow the governor’s direction to properly manage and, where fiscally prudent, reduce the state government property footprint,” said DGS Director Fred Klass. “Selling surplus state properties will help pay down Economic Recovery Bonds, possibly return these properties to local tax rolls, and relieve the state of future liabilities and the expense of maintaining the property.”

Easy enough to get back upright. Just swing counterclockwise on the turntable and boom down....I really don't see a problem

I have a Zeiss NI-2. Great for looking into the neighbor's windows.

Leave it overnight and it will disappear and turn up in pieces in the scrap yard......

Haha, that is good advice. There are only 3 of us licensed in my office at the moment, our principal, our project director and me. Neither of them have enough time to oversee any design work that isn't straight forward. They were both quite happy when my stamp came in the mail.

Lucky for me I've had some very picky mentors along the way.

Im pretty sure you don't have as many lawyers to deal with in your country.

No, there aren't as many, but the geotechs always end up in court. As long as you have some good defendable paperwork, you will probably be alright though. Unless you were negligent.

But it costs us a whole shit ton of money in overhead just being involved in any lawsuit.
