Why is my chapter still pending?

Last week I wrote and posted chapter 18 to my ongoing novel, 'Camilla', and it's still pending. There was a problem, apparently, with it having lines of 30 characters or more without spaces (or so the editors told me), though I think that's a dubious claim. In any case, I checked and fixed any areas that may have had this problem. I've waited and waited for over 3 days since my fixing the chapter during the normal pending time period, and my chapter still hasn't been accepted. Could it be that they're not accepting my chapter for reasons OTHER than the 30 characters without spaces reason? Please answer my question ASAP, because I'm getting quite frustrated here.

When exactly did you submit the revised version? It's not completely clear from your post.

In the meantime, though:

The Summer Lovin' themed contest just ended, and it's nothing unusual for regular stories to take a day or two more to post when a themed contest is running, so that could very well be why it hasn't either been approved or rejected again.

How long did it take for the rejection to show up from the time you submitted? It's probably going to take the same time on a resubmit. Everything automatically goes to the end of the line--each time.

I submitted the revised version on Saturday night, Taiwan time, so if the editors are in America, they would have gotten it on Friday, probably. My story is still pending after three and a half days of waiting.

"Usually three to five days. May take up to a week if the story contains sex with sheep or renting of pigs."

I assume we can consider this one closed now, since the story is up on the New list right now.

The themed contests will often add time to the wait for a story to post, and I'm reasonably certain that was the reason for the minor delay.

But then, that's snottiness from the past that the forum has pretty much grown out of--at least on that issue.
