Well to repeat what I said in the first blurt thread -- We are suffering the hottest weather of the year here, and on the opposite coast people are flooded and shivering. This is so strange to contemplate.

We have more water than we want believe me. I am an hour from the va coast and still saw flooding everywhere. I feel bad for those of you in droughts. I read that texas is in bad shape too.

I was chatting on your thread about starting up the GLBT isolated blurt thread.
You know, just something I thought would be cool for GLBT.
The next thing I know, my brand spanking new Isolated blurty thread has disappeared. I couldn't find it. Apparently, Stella thought it would be funny to steal my idea. Of course I didn't know she had stolen the idea because I have it on ignore. And Etoile merged my thread with Stella's, hence the reason I could no longer see my blurty thread. So Etoile started up this one.
Don't you just fucken love it?

I simply love fall and the color but it's kind of hard to accept winter is just around the corner.

I fucking hate winter. I hate the cold. I have no blood or body fat. I freeze my ass off. And now I'm not drinking...
The only plus side is that we have one of those old-school radiators instead of fucking coal, which is what I grew up with- I hate that shit. We had to pack it inside, and it got on everything- we always wore socks because the bottom of them would be black, and my granny swept and mopped every day, and then bitched about it constantly.
I hate coal. So bad.

I love fall. the colors, the scents, Halloween, all three of my son's birthdays, and Cranberry Sierra Mist soda...which is my most favorite beverage EVER!!!! (It's only available from around Labor Day to mid-November.)

OH-my-god I am so excited about Haloween!
Because of Pokemon black coming out and all my friends playing it, I've been working on Team Rocket costumes all year! I finished mine- Jessie- but I'm worried about the hair. Billy's gonna be James, his was way easier to make- Pierce is gonna be Giovanni (bright orange tweed suit! I'm awesome! He said he was gonna wear it after Halloween to, in situations where he needed a suit). I've made a headband for the cat with a Meowth coin on it, but I don't know if she's gonna be able to wear it. Some friends of mine want me to make them Annie and Okely costumes... but I'm afraid they might be a little... thick to pull it off. Gonna make them anyway though, if I have the time.
Every year, the school has this showing of Rocky Horror, and then Jamie (who's gonna be Ash, but made his own costume) and I are throwing a big costume party. Gonna be fun! Might break my 'no drinking rule'- we have special Halloween wines made locally here.

Ahhh, coffee. I drink as much as I need. Let's see, sleep, or more coffee... hrmmmmm... I choose neither! I'm going to go out and enjoy the summer day until I keel over. I say summer but I don't think there's been a day of really summery weather. Fortunately I love fall. Still, a whole summer of fall...

If there is anything better than standing on one of the overlooks of the western part of the blueridge parkway and looking down at the incredible beauty with an incredible beauty wrapping you up from behind, I cannot imagine what it could be.
