I am interested in trying my hand at editing for an author at Literotica. I have had experience at editing when I worked as, what used to be called, a secretary. I edited dissertations, manuscripts, correspondence, and I even edited a book for a professor that I worked for. He wrote a nonacademic book, and asked for, and used, my advice while writing it. Not only did I proof read the book for spelling and grammatical errors, I also gave input that he used in his book. When editing correspondence, my bosses would expect me to proof for spelling and grammatical errors, but they also expected me to change around sentences and paragraphs, while keeping their meaning in the correspondence. I did this type of work for many years at many different types of companies and firms, both academic and nonacademic.
As for editing for someone writing on Literotica, I am not opposed to editing much of anything. I will say, however, that I'm not that interested in sadomasochism, D/s, violent themes, or things reserved mostly for the bathroom. Also, because I've never had the experience of reading about non-human sex, and I am not much of a science fiction fan, I don't know how well I would do with that particular genre.
I am very interested in daddy/daughter (and variations on that theme), threesomes (both MWM and MWW), group sex, sex in unusual places, and sex with a variety of people, personalities, and in a variety of places. Of course, sex is just a part of any good sex story, but what sets a good sex story apart is how the author brings us to that part, broadens the reader's imagination upon embarkation to the revelation of that very special treasure, and then takes us past it.
Concerning myself, I am a very sensual, as well as a sensitive person, and when I have written stories and poems in the past, that part of me can be clearly seen. I have had some very interesting sexual encounters over the years that may be of interest to an author who is writing a manuscript to sexually arouse others. I believe I have the right balance of personality traits that would make me an excellent editor in this field of writing. I am new to Literotica, so I am certainly open to new information and guidance from those who have been here awhile.
Please let me know if I can be of service. I truly look forward to getting some more editing experience. I am a hard worker, a perfectionist, and I will stay with a project until it is done. The only difficulty I have at the moment is that my printer is not working, but if this is not a problem, I am ready to get started on a project asap!
I look forward to hearing from one of you talented authors...
