Last night, lobster tail, salmon with dill and creme fraiche, Hawaiian pork with crackled skin, pea vines with sauteed English peas, and roasted rosemary potatoes.

Tonight is pork carnitas.

Buttered farro, steak, and a medley of fresh summer vegetables.

Yesterday: Zander stuffed with rosemary and butter and a touch of garlic. Salad with assorted lettuce leaves, strawberries, goat cheese, cantaloupe, watermelon and pine nuts. A glass of crispy dry Riesling.

Today: We caught a ton of crawfish, so that's what we're having. Probably with lemon risotto and another glass of crispy dry Riesling.

I'm going to make some nando's chicken tonight with baked potatoes and a selection of vegetables

I made stuffed cabbage rolls, polish style.

Mainly to use the uncooked cabbage leftover from Sunday dinner.

I had not idea what to do with it, but google solves everything.

Found a site dedicated to cabbage lol.

The cabbage was stuffed with onion, garlic, rice and pork, folded over into envelopes to keep the filling in.

It was ok, fairly bland, but ok

I am experimenting with making onigiri for the first time. The rice is cooking as I type. I don't know why, but I am terribly nervous about it. It is only rice for goodness sake, I need to chill! LOL

Red beans and rice with andouille sausage... It was ok...but I used brown rice and that is a taste I will never get used to.

Toasted turkey, pesto, fresh mozzarella, & heirloom tomato on sourdough sammies with fresh watermelon and cucmber slices.

How did it go?

Planning proper Jamaican rice and peas with baked Cumberland sausages and home-made spicy BBQ pouring sauce.

Cranberry Chicken and a salad with walnuts, cranraisins and blue cheese dressing.

PIZZA!!! Simple homemade crust mini sized & thin....

Chicken, Artichokes, feta, asiago, provolone, Mozzarella, spinach, garlic, and garlic with sides of Caesar salad & Watermelon.

Fiesta cake: So tacky, it's cute!

For everyone who's not in my house right now (LOL), the above is supposed to be a red velvet cake...only I didn't have any red food color. So we ended up with one layer blue and one green.

Also, fried chicken, sour cream and chives potatoes, green beans, and stuffed squash. Most unhealthy meal ever, but yum. :)

Today's menu:
Chantarelle sauce with zucchini strips and roasted cherry tomatoes.
Home made rye bread.
Red currants with custard.

I picked the chantarelles from the forest myself yesterday, the zucchini is from my little balcony garden, the red currants are from the garden of our summer cottage.

If I could, I'd probably grow my own rye, oats and barley, too!

Just finished a bowl of salt and vinegar popcorn...mmmmmmm

This made my mouth water. I will take vinegar on almost anything. And was it the best bowl of popcorn ever? Say yes. Please.

It's still making my mouth water. This is where C_in_C uses her superior health and nutrition knowledge to tell me I have a vinegar deficiency. ;)

Mmmmmmm.... Fuck healthy! BB, I am gonna have you cater my last meal on death row.

Tandoori chicken with white rice, plus a veggie burger wrap for tomorrow.

Smoked Turkey, heirloom tomato, cheddar, roasted pepper spread, and artichoke hearts on sourdough panini with broiled asparagus and cantaloupe moons.
