Ty. Actually, it's supposed to use thicker, natural hemp rope instead of whatever they're using in that pic, but it looked cool so I put it up. It's usually tied a lot tighter too, but with rope that thin, it would've cut into the model's skin.

Well, if you want to be technical about it, one could argue that the *proper* term is Kinbaku, not Shibari. Me- I'm not so much of a purist and I don't get wigged out about what is and what isn't. Besides, who wants to argue when there's a willing rope bunny eagerly awaiting a rigger?

I adore the Japanese aesthetic of Kinbaku/Shibari, but can also appreciate the fusion of eastern and western styles. A Karada on it's own is quite lovely. But replace the simple knots with double coins? Rawr....

im actually not into bondage per se but

i tried out a karada on myself a few weeks back...it was fucking hawt

first of all, i had decided to surprise the hubby...so i started tieing it just a bit before he should be off work
