I've always had a fantasy of being with a much older women. Now I've been with older women before but lately I've been told by some that I'm too young. Exactly at what point does an older women (cougar) not want to be with a younger guy...if the older ladies are out there, I would love to hear from you...

A woman does not want to be with a younger guy at the age when she feels she is in danger of being humiliated by the encounter.

I'm 55 years old, and keep running into 22 year old men and women... damn, yanno? but other women might be just fine with that.

I agree

I'm not 22 but I look younger than my age. Yet, usually after kissing or after a night, I get the "You look like my son" line. I'm ok with short flings but I was curious on why there's a limit afterwards but not during...

because umm... she's thinking with her cunt, but cunts turn the thinking back to the head sooner than dicks do?

You've hit on a very interesting anthropological pheee--- nomeeenon. :D

For one thing, for women-- if she does have a son, she might feel more responsible, or irresponsible for being with a guy that his her son's age. I have a daughter that age, and yeah. I can't compartmentalize so easily.

Women are more likely to be penalised and mocked for being cougars-- amongst the other women, (see above for one reason why) which is where status means the most. Men, not quite so much.

It's even possible that a woman who was seen as being in a relationship with a very young man, could find it affects her job situation. Or at least, that she would worry about it. Male bosses don't always approve of a woman's sexuality being visible in any way. I remember being present at a corporate meeting where one woman was passed over for a promotion because there was a rumor that she was having an affair. Not that she was actually having one-- the rumor was enough. And not that they told her, either. That was in 2002, not so long ago. Times haven't changed very much.

Women, as you see, think a little more about the rest of the world, in relation to their bedroom. It really fucking stinks, if you ask me.

Some older women like young men, others don't. There is no point where older women don't want younger men, it just depends on the woman and what she wants. If you do find an older woman who likes young men, you will also find that she is probably dominant and will likely want a young man who is more submissive. Does the phrase "Boy Toy" ring a bell?

So many people, so many differences! I am older, way older, and ridiculously submissive. I don't care for "boy toys", but I do like men who take charge and get what they need/want.

It all depends on the woman. If she's still into sex, by all means go for it. The oldest woman I have ever been with was 59.

As said, it all depends on the woman. I'll only go about 10 years younger (or older) than me because I don't think I'd have much in common or be sexually attracted to someone other wise. At least, I never have been up to now.

I'm only 23, but thinking of sleeping with an 18 yro makes me feel a pang of guilt in my conscience... I think it's probably because when we were juniors and seniors in college someone who hit on freshman was considered 'sleazy' and 'robbing the cradle'.

I don't think the age of the body is nearly as important as interest, enthusiasm and just plain having fun with sex! that is what it is all about.

I have never really had a number in mind but doubt if I could go lower than late 20's at the lowest. The stamina and enthusiasm would be enjoyable and adorable but I am not much into one nighters and I doubt that the young crowd is looking for anything but. Also helps to have something in common and with a near 20 age difference doubt that would happen.

never the same age or younger than your children.;)

When I was 28, I dated a 43 year old for about four months.

Her daughter was 23 and lived with her. She considered it awkward when I'd leave in the morning and the daughter would be feeding her grand-daughter breakfast, but she soon got over it after she and her daughter had a long talk about it.

It came up later that I got to hear what the major sticking point of that conversation was. My girlfriend was worried about what her daughter thought about her dating a fifteen years younger man. The daughter's issue was that she felt she should be dating me.

The youngest guy that I've ever been out w/ was 13 years younger than me...the oldest that I would consider would be 13 years older than me...but I'm not saying my age :p

Last year I actually got asked out by a friend of my son. He was a couple years older I believe, like 22 or something and the dear was as sincere as he could be. I would have laughed right out loud but I simply had to admire his courage and his sincerity. Needless to say I couldn't take him up on it just due to the weird factor but he was so cute in his efforts.

I have a friend who has a theory called the rule of 7
To find out the youngest you can date: your age/2+7
oldest : (your age-7)*2
for example if you are 40
40/2=20+7=27
40-7=33*2=66

There for a 40yr old person could date some one between 27 and 66 yrs. of age

Of course there are always exceptions ;)

LoL thank goodness I wasn't aware of this theory when I went out w/ a guy 13 years younger than me lol the numbers would've been off based on that theory

I think it all depends on the people and the strength of commonality between them.

Age may not matter if the two involved have loads in common. Age may be a huge barrier, even if the difference is only a few years, if there isn't much else other than sexual attraction.

I've been seeing a guy about 10.5 years younger than me for several months. While it's been fun getting to know him, trying things again I did at his age, enjoying the stamina of youngin', the novelty is starting to wear off. The differences are becoming glaringly obvious, and I'm tired of always being the adult in the relationship.

This does seem to be the conundrum if the ages vary enough. I dated a girl ten years younger than me when I was 28. All the hotness in the world didn't make up for how immature and stupid she was. And for me to call someone stupid and immature is really saying something.

It's a long story--and I guess if you'd like I could explain it--but she was a raving racist too. What a surprise to hear the N word come out of that beautiful mouth. First and last date.

In my experience(VERY LIMITED, mind you) the cougars have been the ones unsure of themselves when it comes to age disparity... Which kinda takes the allure out of it for the prey, yaknow?

I'm sure there are some true cougars around my city, it just doesn't seem like it

I dig chicks in their 40's. Mommy types get me excited. Older big boobed chicks I can rest my head on.
