This is a mess. We went our separate ways some weeks back, and now she tells me she is pregnant. She wants to split the cost of the abortion with me. I told her no. I told her "It's your body. You and you alone can make decisions about your body. Pay for it yourself."

She freaked.

How expensive can it be. A wire hanger cant cost that much. I think walmart has a pack of five for two bucks.

I don't really get you man. You either want to have the child or you don't. Heres to the idea that it is yours. You either pay for the abortion and see it through or you have a kid. The abortion, if thats what you want, seems like an easy option. The kid is a WHOLE other beast.

Oh, come on, Pornstar, that's a bit mean and spiteful, isn't it? You think when your girlfriend turns up prego (I assume you're the male genome bit) is it really the time to go politically dogmatic on her ass?

So it's more important to be an asshole than to be an upstanding guy? Figures. Most like you are like that.

Comshaw

Being an "upstanding" guy is what got him into this mess to start with. So maybe he's decide to turn the other cheek?

Just a few comments to address some responses - I have nothing to worry about. She is definitely getting the abortion. She also has a good job and can easily afford it.

I did pull the politico card on her though, but for reasons that seemed reasonable.

Actually, pornstar, you would you please explain what sort of politic point you were attempting to making by telling her off like that? I'm unclear what you were on about.

Sure. I am a fiscal conservative. She is a fiscal/social liberal. The point I tried to make with her: abortion is legal. she has the right to make decisions regarding her body. But that does not give her the right to make others pay for those decisions.

If she ended up having the baby, she would have that right.

Legally.

I remember some guy brought this argument to court and it was being called Roe vs Wade for men. It failed rather badly.

Sounds like liability.

The DNA test will show for sure.

I meant she could not make others pay for the abortion (that decision). Child support is a different ball of wax. If she gave me the choice of paying for the abortion or child support, I'd pay for the abortion.

Planned Parenthood has government supported abortions.

This didn't happen.

What's with the rash of not-clever threads you started on this afternoon? One was bad enough.

If you're a "fiscal conservative" then why didn't you own up to your own costs associated with making the decision to have unprotected sex? You engaged in a partnership which resulted in a pregnancy. You say you don't believe in making other people pay for your decisions. You should pay up 50% the cost of the abortion, regardless of her ability to afford it on her own.

The fact that she is a "fiscal/social liberal" is non sequitur to your responsibility to act based on your own self-proclaimed value system...

I wish it did not. But alas, it did. Say hello to your mother for me.

1. So, I was right. (Easy call.)

2. "Your momma" fits right in with the calibre of the rest of your humor today.

Haven't you learned anything from your buddies on here? People like them and yourself shouldn't try to be funny. Stick to just being bad at politics. ;)
