Hi, Sarah, and welcome to Literotica and the Authors' Hangout. The erotica doesn't happen here; it happens in the story listings. At least most of it does. Here, we just discuss writing and argue politics and show pictures of our grandchildren and describe incidents in our lives and challenge each other and do the other kinds of things people do in clubhouses. :)

Suggest you get an editor; it can save you a mountain of bad reaction on your stories.

I admit i usually am busy friday / saturday night.

The good news is this is a pretty good community. You'll probably meet some people who you'll really get to like. You may even find that they become serious friends.

The bad news is, if you're not careful, the socialising can get in the way of writing. But, hey, we're social animals. It's the way we were made.

And CI's right: there are plenty of younger people here who are good company.

I hope you enjoy the AH.

There's a nice bunch of folks here and a few not so nice, but you'll spot them right off.

A few tips:

Never post a story in Loving Wives unless you have hide like a rhino ... the trolls there bite down hard.

Never join a political thread unless you like to argue. Social commentary, ditto.

Try meeting folks in the conversation threads like 'Last',' Naked Party', 'What are you listening to now' and suchlike.

Stay away from the General Boards (GB) ... the people there like to strip the flesh from a newbies bones.

Post a link when your first story is up so we can read it.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm 21! Granted, I've two children on the way, so maybe I'm not exactly typical but hey! :D
