In the grand tradition of - ahem - a few other people, I present to you: a question thread!

Come, sit upon the Sultana's pillows, and ask her what you will. No question too bold, no asker too shy.

Bring it to me, my cherished harem!

*eyes pillows* Those look really comfy....

Oh Great Sultana ( he he like a raisin)! This petitioner wishes to know...

May I please sit on the pillows? They look so nice and cushiony :D

What is the best experience you have had as a bottom up to this point?

What is your #1 fetish?

Yes my child, please come and sit at the Sultana's feet! The pillows are here for your comfort.

2001 or so. Hellfire, back when it was on the edge of the Meatpacking District, near Chelsea. Getting spanked and belt-whipped in one of the little back rooms where you have the illusion of privacy but really everyone can see, and that's what you want. God that was amazing. And kneeling at Daddy's feet while he had a cranberry juice (no liquor license there) and guys had their cocks out jerking off in a semicircle around us. It was a little skeevy to have them doing that, and I couldn't bring myself to look at ALL, but Daddy kept them at bay and I was just this pretty little thing on display. My hair was quite short then, and I was thin like in the "very old" pictures. I remember it well.

The Sultana's #1 fetish is....being choked. That's right, a well-placed hand on my throat sends me every time.

If you could go on a trip around the world, all expenses paid, to see anyone you'd like to see from Lit, who would you go and see?

Yes, you can have multiple choices. :)

PILLOWS!!! :D :D *leaps into the biggest pile and burrows into it* I do love pillow piles...

Hmmmm question *muse*

If there were no limits (beyond the laws of physics, of course), what would you do? (not strictly bdsm related)

Hmmm. Well, starting in Japan of course, because I miss the lovely rida and her adopted country terribly. I'd also like to go see the UK gang, can we get them all together in London? And can we get sexycazzy there? I know she hasn't been on for a while but I still think about her. Then I want to go to some shack in Ontario -- WAIT JUST KIDDING!! ;) I would also like to go see CutieMouse, who lives somewhere in Texas I think, but then I would have to turn around and leave very quickly because I think I might be allergic to Texas. And I have to go to Minnesota (or was it North Dakota? somewhere cold) to see serijules!!

Well if you had said the laws of physics wouldn't apply, I'd like to turn the above jetsetting into transporter beaming.

But within the limits of the laws of physics, the Sultana would like to move the hell out of DC for a while, preferably to Japan, but Hawaii, Curacao, or California would also be acceptable.

. . . I like your style.
-dives into neighboring pillow pile and roles around-
Hghmmm, What got you started into the lifestyle and what made you decide to stick with it?

Sultana, first of all, I am a big fan.

That being said, what is your favorite way to pamper yourself (apart from above-mentioned throne of fluffy pillows)?

What is your all time favorite book & why? Have you read it more than once?
All-time...that is a toughie. I have to say that I really like "Aftermath" by LeVar Burton. Yes, Geordi LaForge wrote a book. His parents were both English teachers, so it's not half bad. It's post-apocalyptic fiction, which is one of my favorite genres. Yes, I have read it more than once. I also really like "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides, which I am currently about 45% though my second reading.

Careful now, you'll hit your head, and the Sultana does not keep a big medical staff!

What got me started was performance art. I often got tied up at parties - back when I was young and skinny, and this was the kind of party I went to. Then the person who tied me up at these parties did a "private show" for a mutual friend, and threw in a little domination...I was hooked. Went home with my mind a blur and falling in love. We started dating quickly after that. I stuck with it because I loved it, and I still do.

Mmmm, come here my little rekane, sit beside me. *pats pillow*

I like to eat very delicious food, and I also like to masturbate furiously and repeatedly for long stretches. :)

let me repostulate;

what do you find, for you, are your best methods for coping with depression?

who is that last family member you lost?

who is most likely to be next, and when's the last time you spoke to them?

My chief method of coping with depression is distraction. I have ADHD and I can distract myself like a champ. It usually involves the computer, but sometimes a movie.

I haven't lost anybody recently. Unless you count the cat, and he was sighted late Saturday night. Hasn't come home yet...but was sighted.

My aunt is going to die soon. She's my mother's brother's wife. She has end-stage lymphoma and could go at any time. I visited her the last week of June. She's a dear, sweet woman, a true saint, very intelligent, and will be a great loss to those who love her. Before seeing her in June, I hadn't seen her in 15 years. That's when she and my uncle moved from northern Virginia (very near where I live now, actually) to northern Arkansas. Which was...not my kind of place.

You talk a lot about "back when you were skinny," as if skinny universaly equaled sexy.

To what extent are you aware of your present desirability?

Do you know with confidence that you are sexy now?

I've found that confidence to be more important than any other single factor, though I suppose some small part of that's attributable to my taste for dominant women...

In anycase, I could use a little of that confidence myself.

It doesn't universally equal sexy, no. But a whole lotta people think it does. I guess I try to use it as a self-protection mechanism. Like, to make people realize that I wasn't always a big girl. I know a lot of people do like big girls, but without probing someone's personal interests, I tend to assume they don't - so I try to protect myself by pointing out that I was once skinny.

I am not usually aware of my desirability at all. Yeah, I wish I had that confidence. I know big women who do. I'd love to be an April Flores type, she is so gorgeous and sexy and she's CONFIDENT about it! I'm not sure if, given the opportunity, I could do it. I'd probably start moaning about my skin not being clear enough to be a model.

And yes, confidence is key, I don't think I am sexy now except to those who know me and love me and automatically think that...I am usually pretty down on my looks. Fortunately I consider myself brainy, if not beautiful.

What is your kind of place?

It has at least one vegetarian restaurant, liberals, people from many different places who have come there to live, and more shopping options than just a Wal-Mart supercenter.

The closest veg-friendly place to where I was, according to HappyCow.net, is some 60 miles away. The closest actual vegetarian place is 3 hours away in Memphis.

Oooo That gives me another question that I love to ask vegetarians!!!

Why are you vegetarian?

Two reasons:
1. It's a habit since 1993.
2. I like animals, I don't want them to die.
:)

What kind of vegetarian are you, Etoile? I'm pretty sure I've seen the answer to this somewhere, but I can't remember it to save my life.

*nods* that is fair enough. You do realize, though, that animals are well...meant to die? A cow is meant to be eaten. Chickens are prey. For that matter, so am I :p I won't begrudge the tiger that eats me. I mean, I'm not trying to shit on your plate or anything!! It's certainly one of the "better" reasons for being vegetarian!! I've just never had a vegetarian who is vegetarian for that reason give me an explanation beyond "I just don't like it" or something along those lines. I'm curious to know if you have one :) I just don't quite understand the stance because one animal dying to feed another is so...natural to me. It's just how it is, you know?

The Sultana hopes you don't mind that she answers both of you at once, since it is on the same topic.

Ovo-lacto. If I get the job in Japan I will eat chicken while I am there. 3 months in Japan as a vegetarian taught me that it is very, very hard to get by that way!

It's natural, perhaps, but to me all life is important and I prefer not to claim higher value on my life than on an animal's. In this society, there are plenty of options for me that don't involve animals, so I choose to follow the path that makes me feel better about myself - a path that doesn't involve killing animals. In Japan, there are far fewer options for vegetarians, so I think it will be necessary to adapt somewhat.
