The media are at it once again with a real vendetta towing a hypocritical line.

Enter CNN and HLN. Wolf Blitzer. Anderson Cooper. Dr. Phil and Dr. Drew, just to name a few.

What has these networks and individuals – along with homosexual extremists and liberals – so fuming mad?

Michele and Marcus Bachmann.

If you haven't noticed lately, Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann is one of the fastest rising superstars in today's political arena – a Republican frontrunner in the race for the 2012 office of the president of the United States.

Bachmann is Christian and conservative. She has a rapidly rising base of like-minded supporters all across the nation. However, Christian and conservative are two adjectives liberals and many within the mainstream media absolutely abhor.

This female fireball and evangelical powerhouse – who very well can be our next president – has been deemed a political threat and one who must be taken down in the media – now.

This eerily reminds me of another female political figure, from Alaska. You betcha.

This week, CNN released a video by a homosexual extremist group that went undercover with a hidden video camera at the Bachmanns' place of business – a humble Christian counseling center in Minnesota called Bachmann and Associates.

They said what was uncovered at the Bachmann clinic will absolutely shock us. It's unbelievable. It's unfathomable.

It was "uncovered" and "discovered" by the hidden camera of a gay activist posing as someone wanting help to change from gay to straight that the Bachmanns' Christian counseling center actually had the "audacity of hope" to believe that their Christian counselors could in fact, through prayer, the Bible and clinical means, help men and women who struggled with unwanted same-sex attraction to possibly change their sexual preference.

Seriously, can you imagine anyone believing such a thing? A gay person actually "changing" and "going straight"?

Articles and stories continue to flood the media with such grandiose titles as "What's going on at the Bachmann Clinic?", "Bachmann to cure gays?" and "Michele Bachmann helps homosexuals to pray away the gay."

I needed to find out the truth for myself.

Gay to straight? Who do Michele Bachmann and her husband Marcus really think they are?

As I sat at my desk scratching my head, deeply pondering this incredible breaking news by CNN, I remembered a little story from 20 years ago.

Two gay men were in a loving, committed relationship for several years. Both of their families and all of their friends accepted them completely for who they were.

These gay men cooked together. They washed their clothes and washed their cars together. They both had great jobs. And believe it or not, every now and then, they even went to church together.

Then one day, a conservative, Bible-believing Christian who knew one of the gay men showed up at his front door with a Bible in her hand and rang the doorbell.

The gay man answered his door and the woman asked if she and her friend could come inside for a few minutes and talk about the Bible, Jesus Christ – and the man's homosexuality.

Shocked by the nerve that these two Christians had, the gay man decided to let them come in. He wanted to hear the nonsense these two homophobic, hateful bigots had to spew.

Over the next hour, the gay man heard how God loved him, how, based on Scripture, he wasn't "born" gay, and how he could leave his homosexual lifestyle through God's Son. He heard how Jesus Christ died for him, to set him free from sin and give him new life.

The two Christians were so bold with their words, they actually said, "Through Jesus, you no longer have to be gay! You can be heterosexual and happy – completely fulfilled – the way God created you to be!"

The Christians then asked the gay man if he wanted to pray and receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Confused, upset and by this time very angry, the gay man declined and asked the Christians to leave his home at once.

The Christians obliged. However, before departing, they left the gay man with a Bible and asked him to please read it – and consider and pray about everything that was said.

"Seek God with all of your heart – and you will find Him," were their final words.

Today, over 20 years later, that man is no longer gay. He is happily married to his wife of over 18 years. He is also the father of two precious children.

That man left his gay partner a year and a half after the two Christians visited him. He did read the Bible and prayed about everything they said.

He completely walked away from the homosexual lifestyle that once enslaved him for over 11 years, with over 100 male partners.

Until this day, by God's grace, that man never struggled again with homosexuality.

There is much more to the story. If you are interested, click below to find out more.

How do I know that story so well?

Because that gay man was me.

I want to thank you, Michele and Marcus Bachmann, for your unwavering Christian faith and stand. Thank you for offering true hope and help to those men and women struggling with unwanted homosexuality. You are not trying to force people to change who don't want it – only offering it to those who are truly seeking it.

Because of people like you, I am a completely changed man – in more ways than one.

Because of people like you, I have a loving wife and two beautiful children – a family – something I always dreamed of, but believed was completely impossible.

Michele and Marcus Bachmann, because people just like you cared enough to share the Gospel and God's uncompromising, yet loving truth about homosexuality with me, my life and eternal destiny have completely changed.

I thank you. My wife thanks you. Our children thank you.

Great is your reward.

CNN, HLN, Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper, Dr. Phil and Dr. Drew – along with other naysayers: I pray your eyes, minds and hearts will one day be opened to the truth.

There are many former homosexual men and women in this world. We do exist. We know the "Truth" and the "Truth" has set us free.

Life on the other side of the rainbow is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

It's not just "unendorsed" by the psychiatric and greater medical community. You actually lose your license if you try any of this. If anyone learns of a psychiatrist trying to "cure" sexual orientation, please follow this link and report them. They'd love to hear from you :)

(same goes for social workers, licensed professional counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, and medical professionals of any sort)

I have one question for anyone who thinks homosexuality is a choice.

When did they choose to be straight?

Holy shit. Does anybody have a good job miles picture? All the ones I can find are STFU but this one deserves a preach it brother!

Tell it to the Beloved Disciple . . .

are you part of the crowd that " believes " Jesus and His Disciples were gay ?
don't be embarrassed to admit to it...someone ( gay ? straight ? ) wrote a play about the possibility of it...it's going mainstream soon .

I dunno about all the disciples, but there was one who has provided some grounds for speculation. And, in Jesus' time and place, it was weird for an adult man not to be married*, so that's some grounds for suspicion all by itself, unless you buy the story about Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

* Peter was married. Jews have a moral and religious duty to marry and have children. A celibate Jesus would not be Messiah material, he would not even be rabbi material.

I've read scholarly speculation that JC was married simply on the basis of him being called "rabbi."

Not sure how credible it is.

The real problem with a thread like this is that it's easy to get distracted by a discussion of whether Jesus sucked cock or not.

Should we somehow be basing our morality and ethics on a book written 2 000 years ago by a bunch of barely literate revolutionaries? If so, why choose this particular book, or even more properly, this set of books, and why not include the Gnostics, or scrap the Middle Eastern version and use some Asian or African text? Heck, the Mayans had their own holy shit we could co-opt if we really need a collection of fairy tales.

Also, Pookie will post in this thread later.

Interesting how Jesus' sexuality became a topic in this thread. I didn't think that the speculation would be so foremost in people's minds.

I only want to learn if, of all the mental and physical diseases and disorders that Jesus cured, was homosexuality among them?

What I do not understand is how so many can be so convinced that homosexuality is not a choice, and how it cannot be reversed. We know homosexuality is neither 100% genetic, nor 100% environmental. So it seems reasonable that environmental factors, in conjunction with genetic factors, are the cause. If it is not purely genetic, than maybe it can be reversed.

From what I know about gene therapy, there will come a time (I predict 20 years) when scientists will be able to switch off obesity, switch on super memory, etc. People will have a choice to switch on/off homosexuality. The day is coming.

The . Bachman's . must . be . destroyed . !

liberal hacks ! these are your orders ! act now !

Homosexual orientation, like heterosexual orientation, is not a choice. Behavior is a choice however. But behavior does not define orientation. Is a straight priest no longer straight because he's celibate? What about a gay celibate priest?

Your problem is that you see homosexuality as a problem that needs to be "cured". The medical community disagrees since homosexuality doesn't cause harm.

From what I know about gene therapy...[/QUOTE]

You know nothing about gene therapy.

Everyone knew that MB was going to get the full scorn treatment that Palin got, but this is a particularly amusing way to go about it.

Did she honestly think that her husband's "treatment and cure" of homosexuality wasn't going to make big news?

Actually, she probably didn't think at all.
Everybody knows that homosexuality is just a curable curse..

Turn it off, like a light switch!
There it's gone! (Good for you!)
My Hetero side just won!
I'm all better now.
Boys should be with girls that's Heavenly Father's plan
So if you ever feel you rather be with a man,
Turn it off.

{...}

Imagine that your brain is made of tiny boxes,
and find the box that's gay and CRUSH IT!
Ok?

She's the gift that keeps on giving..

I am bisexual. Would you have me "cured"?
