good luck on the house goddess.....i hope its what y'all want when you see the inside. i am so sorry about the car, i am having car issues also, luckily i have an incredible mechanic (i dated him years and years ago...lol), doesn't charge me excessively, doesn't fix what ISN'T broke and is super at his job. now if i could just date a handyman type guy, a dentist and a doctor, my life might work out! .......

The house was really nice...but the owner is having second thoughts about renting versus selling. Not holding my breath.

Evening GG, yup the car is all patched up. Coolant seemed to be fine, yet it quickly gets warm while setting at a stop for very long... Not sure what it is.

Now you sound like my brother...and he's only 27! He swears he'll never date again...it's been 5 years for him. But he's 27, been made a manager for a high end, well-known financial firm, is making about as much as lawyer and has spent his 20's studying and getting his securities licenses. He's a big guy...and he thinks that no girl will ever look at him because of it.

I look at it this way...if I can land such a great guy...anybody can! LOL And you are way more beautiful than me!

The house...well...the woman's mother owned it and passed. She is now trying to figure out what to do with it. It's been on the market for about 2 years. We're hoping she'll decide to take a chance on us.

We need to move because we need more space...and our landlord is a twit. Takes MONTHS to get the simplest things fixed. The place needs a wrecking ball...though he has the building up for sale. Wish we had a enough to buy it, fix it all up and start a teen center downstairs....right now its an insurance agent...booooring. But we have 2 bedrooms. We need 3.

Actually...not far off from me. LOL Working 9 hour days, coming home and collapsing. And no money to do stuff on weekends. Like right now, we're eating dinner (grilled cheese with ham, bacon and turkey) and watching Apollo 13. Raja's never seen it and it's taken us 3 nights to get half-way thru the movie! So I'm going to go join him on the couch and get this movie done!!! LOL

Enjoy work (i know...i know...i'm demented) and try to have a good night. You should sleep good tonight!!!!

That's our problem. We're hoping to have his eldest come live with us...but right now, there is no where to put her. Sharing a room is out of the question because Mini-G is crammed in her room as it is. Plus, I can't see two teen girls sharing a room who aren't true sisters. They'd kill each other inside of a week! okay, not sure if you are familiar with the southern stereotype of men....well, it ain't a stereotype! certainly not all the men around here are good ol' redneck boys with wads of chewin tobacco in their mouths and fish/deer/turkey/game of season guts on their jeans, attitudes that a womans place is in the kitchen, etc.....if i ever met one that seemed halfway decent and funny and nice to be around, i'd have been all over him but it ain't happened so far. i have met lots of nice older gentlemen but they are married and i don't ever, ever associate with a married man in that fashion....well, unless i'm lied to about their status.
