yes batteries are out it is solar power and a hell've lot more fun ,at least to view !:D

So you're suggesting that I should be out in the sunshine doing things the good old fashioned way, hey? You'll have to slather me with sunscreen first. I tend to burn otherwise.

Hmmm ... don't want to burn those gorgeous assets of yours AusGal ;)

What's not to enjoy? (Jewish quote)

"Advice for new Litser's" ?
And here's me thinking you were off having fun somewhere

Depends on your definition of fun. I found it educational and sometimes entertaining, so I guess you could say that a modicum of fun was had.

Oh and I found another person with a Terry Pratchett quote in their siggy, so that was good.

And now it's off to bed I'm afraid. And no, probably nothing fun going on there either. Have a great night!

Good night AusGal :rose::kiss: sweet dreams

Do you find Canberra quaint? Interesting how the city is a ghost town on Saturday afternoon and Sunday, no wonder the parking is free...nothing bloody open except a pub. The place has some of the largest roundabouts I've ever seen. No chance of an accident. I like how all the traffic flows. I was up there for a seminar a few years ago. My co-worker asked the cabbie when peak hour started...the cabbie replied "you're in it"...there were ten cars on the road. We tried hard not to laugh.

Was thinking of moving up there for a job, but family stuff happened so I'm staying in lovely Melbourne town.

Roundabouts in Canberra? no accidents? Many years ago several of us flew down there for a speedway meeting, hired a car at the airport, got lost trying to get to the speedway then when speedway finished we were trying to find our way back to the airport & saw 3 accidents only it was the same one we past each time so we stopped & asked the cop who was taking details of the accident.

I'm still having fun, definitely. I feel like I've just scratched the tip of the iceberg! There is sooooo much I haven't seen yet, so many places I've yet to explore. So many people to meet and chat with.

But, as with your longstanding game with Ms Moon, I often feel the need to just sit back and observe for a while so that I can at least try and get a handle on what's going down. Often I'm still clueless at that point and figure that time might illuminate things for me further.

Or I just come out and ask:D

We are all the same CAG except both Elf & MzMoon don't seem to have the time to drop in here as often now, there was often pages of banter between them & others.

Do you know something? I really can't remember what I was fiddling with. My siggy or avi or something like that, probably. And my toys don't warn me with low battery signs. They just buzz less than usual.

You need a USB vibrator then you can fiddle while you lurk. (think of whistle while you work & sing along with the highlighted words)

Smiles... Curious. Welcome!

Please feel free to torment the Elfin one. Elfie is just a tartie lad who happens to possess a wicked sense of humour (yes, I know, blindingly obvious there Moonie!) and I love his wordplay. Feel free to torment him at will, I know I do...smiles.

love the beads !:D

Oh no Ms Moon I totaly get the picture, kinda like putting a rubber glove on a wet hand...the answer...well quite simple... cloth covering first then top layer.

A photo?...don't forget where you are...Lit, christ if you can't post one here....

Another layer in the humidity of a December - March evening?? Are you mad? I'm a Sadist not a masochist sweetie. As for a photo on here...smiles..no one has sinned that badly to be punished, plus there is the Geneva Convention about Torture....;)

How is the house renovation? You must be sitting back stroking your um...beard and admiring the hard work now?

I'm ass-u-ming it ain't white bread you're using....someone your age needs all the fibre they can get :D

My age? *Ahem* don't belive there is much difference between the both of us, chronologically, Elfie. But I will take all the advice I can from a fellow senior who obviously needs a good clean out.

As for liking a reaction....there are always one or two that do make me *perk* up a little.

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

Well you know they say the mind is first thing to go....can remember what the second thing is.....

I guess so long as they buzz, there is hope. At least you won't need to hear hubby ask..."are we there yet"

HI {{{{{Elfy}}}}}:heart: Your post has me LMAO! :D

Hi loverly {{{{{{{Kayte}}}}}}}, I/we are only just home from dropping BANDIT's:heart: daughter off at the airport for her flight out of Aussie but has to fly to Melbourne first before getting her flight home to NZ, she was due to fly out a week ago but because of the Volcanic ash all flights to NZ were cancelled.

Hahaha, funny story! Yeah, the roundabouts don't mean no accidents ever, but they generally work quite well.

I figured it was one of those things that had been going for a while that I was unlikely to be able to decipher quickly. And it can be sad when old friends aren't really around much anymore. Been there, done that... and then I was the one who moved on.
