Appearing yesterday in Boston during the latest stop on her Summer Vacation Tour, Palin did more than simply step all over Mitt Romney’s announcement- she gave us an important lesson in American history as Palin shared the following information about Paul Revere -

He who warned, uh, the British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms uh by ringing those bells and making sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free and we were going to be armed.

Yeah, I remember learning about that in school: Paul Revere riding through the sleeping city, shouting "You're coming! You're coming!" at the British.

Isn't her 15 minutes over yet? I solved my issue with having to deal with stupid, lying, psychopathic politicians, I stopped the paper, don't watch or listen to any MSM TV or radio and only talk to people who can talk about frivilous issues. It's liberating and I feel much better about the state of the world and it's greatly enhanced my sex life. :D
 
Some talking head or other took some heat for an anti-Palin rant a month or two ago. But in that rant, he said something along the lines of, ok, she wasn't ready in 2008, that's fine. But now she wants us to take her even more seriously without her having spent a second of the last four years getting any more informed than she was then.

And she's not smart enough to realize she can't win without independents.

The comments are even funnier than the video.

Clanging church-bells in the middle of the night probably did warn British spies & double-agents that something was afoot. Sarah was referring to the Revolutionary spirit of resistance to British rule as a “warning” to the British that the colonists were fed up, and not gonna take it any more. And, can any Sarah-bashing know-it-all provide video or links to news reports of Paul Revere’s Ride? Sarah Palin’s history lesson is as good as anyone’s alive today, and she surely is a pretty teacher.
