Well I did it again please don't ask me why.
The blocs of countries just vote for each other and seeing that we are an island and connected to no one we get "Royaume Unis, deux point" :)

It's fun to watch the politics and, may I say that Italy did well and I enjoyed the jazz song, they deserved what they got but, Azerbaijan? Where? did they cheat?

Nevertheless something happened in 1994 in the Eurovision song contest, something that took the the world by storm, and here is the original recording...

One happy bunny

As you may or may not know, my friend Jules is a Manchester City fan. And at around six this evening she called me in tears of happiness. Her favourite team had won the FA Cup 1-0. I just hope that she is in a really great mood tomorrow when we meet up ;)

I think I'll take her to lunch. Although I expect she will want to be with the crowds of fans in Manchester, welcoming back their victorious team. Not something I want to get involved with really. However, if it makes her happy then join her I must I suppose :)

And then shout "United! United!" if you value your life :D:kiss:

If it does come to crowds, I'll be wearing jeans, t-shirt and jacket ;)

I did hear that Man U fans will be there to help City celebrate their win since 1976 or something... that is a nice gesture I thought :)

:D:D Not too long jen :) ... just eyes and peach lip gloss basically these days
I my day we used to call lip gloss lipstick. I'm sure many people still do but the colour of choice is interesting. it reflects both your mood and your character don't you think?

I find peach suits my complexion more than anything else. People still call it "lipstick" but it is mostly advertised as lip gloss. Something from my past working for a certain cosmetics company. We had to sell the product as gloss because of it's texture. And, like paint, believe it or not, applications also use an undercoat "lipstick" to apply the lip gloss on ;)

:D:D ... I have often used black with a black wig on certain ocassions during those Goth periods... then went as a natural dark blonde Goth with red lip gloss. In a way, I admit I make a really bad Goth :D

If you read back I met "Scoots" who is totally Goth these days. Very impressive :)

Those beliefs they have do have historical links in European culture too. I saw the historic connection as well as those supernatural curiosties they persue. It was actually intelligent facts rather than pure myth that she based most of her beliefs on."

Gothic fiction (sometimes referred to as Gothic horror) is a genre of literature that combines elements of both horror and romance. As a genre, it is generally believed to have been invented by the English author Horace Walpole, with his 1764 novel The Castle of Otranto. The effect of Gothic fiction feeds on a pleasing sort of terror, an extension of Romantic literary pleasures that were relatively new at the time of Walpole's novel. Melodrama and parody (including self-parody) were other long-standing features of the Gothic initiated by Walpole. Gothic literature is intimately associated with the Gothic Revival architecture of the same era. In a way similar to the gothic revivalists' rejection of the clarity and rationalism of the neoclassical style of the Enlightened Establishment, the literary Gothic embodies an appreciation of the joys of extreme emotion, the thrills of fearfulness and awe inherent in the sublime, and a quest for atmosphere.

Yes :) However, I have yet to take up Scoots invitation to the Goth bar/club and get to know more about it. De-Val also is interested (conversation on here). I will try to make arangements and take a serious investigation, and also meet Scoots g/f who I believe is a student at Sheffield Uni :)

FLASHBACK AUGUST 2008:

A beautiful poem by Lorraine, with comments...

Fetus
by Gaia_Lorraine©

Floating forest of fluid, flotsam of fortifying food.
Flawless fledglings’ fettered fetal fiefdom.
Fragile fingers form and flex; fecundity of fittest fighting fist.
Facial features frown, feigning foredoom fuss.
Physiological physique afresh… femur, fibula, pharynx, flesh.
Infinite fibres forging familial phenotype of formidible finesse.

Final frantic phase. Flouncing for freedoms’ first flickering photon.
Fallible, fickle figurine face
Unforewarned and fearless of facetious fools,
felonious fellows and ferocious fangs of famine.
Formula of affection, felicitation, fidelity, fashion.
Fantasia for flute.
Find forgiveness of folly and phantoms foreign.
Female and fathers’ finest festival fruit.

Liar: Alliteration ahoy. A fun read. :) Lost me a few times in the middle, but it's a tough challence to restrain oneself in that way and still be eloquent and fully comprehensible.

LeBroz: OMG Liar's got it right! A slew of f-words All over the place. Now I really do need a drink To loosen my tongue ~ And it's only 10 in the morning!

Anonymous comment: I can't remember a poem that has tackled birth in such a way. The poet packs a lot of punch into lines that could have just been a ditty, but in fact are so much more. She manages to tell a story and that in itself is an accomplishment. Hope to see more of this.

LeBroz: This poem was mentioned in the Archival Review thread, in a picking through Lit's archive of over 39,000 poems.

"I have often wondered what it would be like to ride a sybian with all of its fixtures and fittings of various dildos and the speeds compared to an ordinary vibrator including the famous masturbatory toy itself, the notorius "rabbit"...

However, it looks like amazing fun to me ;)

Sybian Ride

I wouldn't like to say what causes the sheer pleasurable feeling. I can only liken it to inserting a vibe and letting it vibrate against the g-spot. I'm not sure if there is an attachable device similar to the rabbit, that stimulates the clitoris too..."

Sybian riding maybe cool... but when it comes to "making love to your car" then what do you fuck? Not meaning to be "ultra crude" when I say that, but probably the gear stick is kind of obvious... well, it is in this case ;)

Freaks Of Nature

A really good one for "The Games People Play" collection :D
