Snow in the mountains in NSW and VIC - and its only May - I predict power blackouts as everyone turns up the heaters - and somehow I'm going camping in the NSW Southern Highlands this weekend :(

Perhaps this will cure my addiction to Lit - everything will have dropped off after this weekend ! :eek::eek:

Yes I have experienced the colder with height thing when going from east to west accross the Rockies in Washington state & even up to the Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

I'd been thinking about my post since I put it up & I'm sure it was when I stopped boozing it up that they stopped feasting on me.

As for bat houses we don't need houses as they live in the trees right near our balcony, Bandit complains about the constant squeaking they do.

One big problem I have these days is feeling the cold which I never used to so we have had the heater on at night a few times of late.

Well that dependds where you are going to sit. If it is general admission then an umbrella ain't going to save you, unless you want to annoy people. Try one of those plastic poncho things. As for it not being cold....well lets see minimums are currently around 4 highs are around 15...nope I reckon sitting in the open will be like sitting in front of an open fireplace....minus the fire. Luckily you aren't coming down here during the winter

bats eat tons of those pesky mosquitoes though. These bats around here are picky, they want their own condo....:)

Damn not even someone to snuggle with on these cold days & night :eek: as you know BANDIT:heart: & I enjoy our snuggling although we do get a bit over heated sometimes.

BANDIT's:heart: Daughter arrives in a few weeks from now & she told us last year that she would love to go to Darwin which I would enjoy & might have a date to be there too after seeing the Darwin Speedway race dates.

I would love to get up there to catch some speedway, it's one of the few places that run in Winter here although I looking forward to having some races at a country track this Winter.
