Thanks Gil. Bub is doing well.. growing way too fast, has 2 teeth, crawling and when in his walker zooms all over the place. He is also a real chatterbox!! Must get that from his father cos we all know I am quiet and shy.

I think some old poster's should be notified that they are getting trashed in an open, un-moderated forum, but I don't have all the contact details for everyone.

No, I don't think she has a clue. She is running scared. I would be too but I tend not to react that way. From my experience, this is not as simple as she thinks, and he may never be whole again, if its true and all that. It sounds like a psychotic break and people don't always return from them. He was a marathon runner, I am wondering what it is about runners... I have seen this happen before with runners.

There are just so many guys who go like that, but he hasn't posted here in quite a while plus I don't remember any of the stuff she is talking about. Perhaps it was behind the scene or she got us confused with Fubar.

I am alive, struggling, looking for work, its getting bad.
Not unhappy or anything, still in physical therapy from my summer operation.

Some things are getting better, financially things are very bleak at the moment but that could all change. I just keep plugging away, and try to stay positive.

Apart from that, I am happy and content with my lot - having a man who keeps me well satisfied in all areas helps! (And now that he has the new job, he's even told me that unless I can find a job that gives me every 2nd month off to be home with him, he'd rather I didn't work! I could get used to this )

Hopefully your financial situation will get sorted soon. Very hard at the moment, I'll bet!
And hopefully the physio makes a big difference

Evening all,

Well it's getting chilly in Melbourne town. Down to single figures overnight now which is a total turn around from last week.

I have given up the pleasure of public transport for a little while and am now doing by bit for globing warming. Saving 1 hr in travel time each day and it costs less to park than ride in the crowded PT. The car is even getting a better run each day and I'm saving money on my morning coffee. The only down side continues to be stepping in the front door at work, but things are a changing on that front as well. The dickhead Dir now has two unions after him and one of them doesn't take prisoners...that's the one I'm in. The newest arrival has already made it clear on the intent to resign....and here I thought that Monty Python had retired.

Certainly will be an interesting couple of months ahead. I'll have to buy a bigger bag of popcorn.

I just went and had a look at the post you are talking about and all I can say is Wow! Bitter, angry and wanting to blame everyone except herself.

I never met Wombat in person but had plenty of chats on here and even played games of scrabble on yahoo and he was never anything but polite and upfront about his self esteem and other issues from his past. He also talked of his wife and children lovingly.

One of the things she said got me going. About how hubby's behaviour was the same as when she was bullied in school.
Those of us that experienced real bullying know that it is nothing like the same! Totally different behaviour!
My guess is that as she grew up, she never learned to leave the past behind. She still has MAJOR self-esteem issues. Maybe more of a nutjob than even we guess at

And if she can't leave the bullying past behind, there's absolutely no hope of her being able to put this (with hubby) behind either.
The marriage is completely doomed.

We met Wombat in person and he was never anything but polite and respectful. He was kinda quiet and shy but then so am I We both thought he was a really nice guy - with a few issues but then who hasn't got issues and baggage in their lives We've had no contact with him apart from Facebook status updates for the last few years.
