Where I live, there are lots of middle-aged to old people. They must have spent the early hours of the morning hanging out banners and union flags from their windows.

In the afternoon, despite the cold wind, we had sunshine atleast and we were invited to join their bar-b-q's and get a little bit drunk by dinner time. TRT, myself and the kids had eaten so much we skipped dinner.

I thought it was a nice community get together. Pity they don't do things like that all of the time...

Personally I watched the Diana/Prince Charles one and look what happened to that, Cynical I know but it did put a damper for me on this one.

I don't recall anything about Lady Di's wedding. All I know is that her death was devastating to the nation and probably all over the world.

I hope that William does become king one day, and not Charles. They would make a fantastic head of state and the poor Queen is getting on a bit. I think she should retire or something...
