Re.: Driving Protocol.

Dear Florida Driver,

I understand that Montreal driving is considerably more aggressive than what you are probably used to. We do have a reputation in being incredibly fast, cutting off, and just going. After all, the speed posted is a suggesting only.

I also realise that we are strongly associated with Britain; however, we do not drive slow on the left lane. Like our friendly neighbours to the south, and our partners across the pond, with the sole exception of the Isles, we drive slow on the right hand lane.

That being said, cutting me off as I am zipping down the highway and then slowing down to below the speed limit is considered to be bad form. Giving me a lecture as I pass you on the right side will not slow me down and should be an indication that you are going much too slow and that you should perhaps move to the right lane. After all, there is no left exits, and you're just holding up traffic. This particular stretch is not for the faint of heart. I can appreciate the culture shock but the road has its own rules.

See that thin thing next to the right side of the brake? It's called the gas pedal. Use it.

Signed,

Yours etc.

Go Girl......

One should never go to hang out with "Like minded folk" when like minded involves the production of anything alcoholic in the middle of the week. I'm still half way between loaded and hung over this morning.

What would you get if you stick a turnip as big as that up someone's arse??

Hmmm...interesting indeed...:D
