What does it look like? I am one of those people who can't do the flashing light thing...

It's a square composed of 4 triangular sections of lines, points meeting at the center, that strobe rapidly and steadily. Essentially, it looks like a march of these < coming in from four angles, infinitely going into the center (or out from the center).

At first you see it that way, lines moving in or out from the center there. Then, after about ten seconds, you get that effect where you start to see other patterns. After thirty seconds, if you look away at, say, your cat, your vision seems to warp--as I said, you see the world in a way similar to what you see looking through heat waves or in a fun house mirror.
