I don't know about that. After all, the anger and rage of Guido and Guidette when climate change lands them in a snowmaggedon might offer a teachable moment for even the simplexity of the Tea party.

I would have thought that some of these were old hat even before 2010 got started. Perhaps, as you suggest, there is post-recessional dullness at work here.
