It gives me great pleasure to see one of my older poems re-visited and commented on.

Anyone else admit to this egoistical frisson?

it makes me smile, for sure ... surprise and (depending on the person and the comment, oh course) pleasure :)

It is a nice surprise although I think to myself 'oh dear I wonder how long that's been sitting there and I didn't see it and say thankyou'!

Indeed, Tristesse, it feels good to see one of your older poems re-visited and commented on.

I don't have that many posted, but it is interesting to open an old note book or folder and a poem I don't remember writing. I know the words and I remember the time and the inspiration, but I don't remember writing it down.

I'm embarking on a trip back over time to read - re-read in some cases - older poetry, vote and leave comments. It's time consuming so it will be slow but I pledge to do this.

I have very little in the way of scribbles - I did come across a small dictation recorder that I used to keep by my bed years ago to jot down any ideas - that was interesting.

Nothing like a little validation, eh?

It's just nice to know someone else is thinking the same thing, makes me feel a little more sane.

They never seem to read the ones I'd want them to, but it's nice to see a new comment. And it's a perfect description of a frisson.

Mostly though I am laughing Tess that you called me the Grande Dame of the Glosa. Lauren would disagree. :D
