Hey Ive been searching for stories where a family gets kidnapped etc etc and forced to do stuff

I do remember a couple of stories like that but do you recall anything else? Characters' names or anything? Just searching for "family kidnapped" will probably get you too many results. I recall one where the family was taken to a facility, and another where they were kept in their house. The more info you have, the more likely you are to find it.

Oh, sorry, misunderstood. Then family, kidnap and hostages are probably good words to search on.

the search engine on here is too generic. Try using google search site feature in the google toolbar. There was a story I loved that got deleted from my favorites so I used some details I remembered and narrowed it down to about 12 and was able to find it.
