Problems with "Recent Activity"?

I get an error message when I try to access "Recent Activity" from "Submissions" - Site under maintenance or Programming error.

Anyone else having difficulty with it?

I logged out, logged in as Jeanne D'Artois and had no problems.

I logged out Jeanne, logged in as Og, and "Recent Activity" doesn't work.

Being a new submitter, I am checking it on a relatively obsessive basis.

I haven't had any problems at all.

It seems to be something on your end, or more probably, in your account.

I closed down my computer, restarted, and the problem is still there.

I think it might be because I deleted a PC that would have appeared in 'Recent Activity'.

Sounds like a portion of the Data base is having a problem. You might drop Manu a PM and let him know.

ETA: That shouldn't have cause a problem. The PC should have been dropped from the recent list but you never know. PM Manu, it might be a glitch he needs to know about.

I've had the same problem all morning. I can read my comments individully on each story but get page error on 'recent activity.' Hopefully it will work eventually.

I have just sent a PM to Manu.

I had noticed in the past that deleted PCs continue to appear on Recent Activity after deletion, but nowhere else.

I was thinking the same thing. Might take a day for it to clear up. Until then I'll just read the comments to my latest stories.

Is it everything, or just your 30 day section? I had a story that drew a large amount of favorites and comments a while back, and that crashed both my 7 day and 30 day lists until enough stuff dropped off them.

Once it's past 24 hours, see if that section of your recent activity page starts working again. I'm starting to suspect that it has to do with deleting a comment, because I seem to remember that I did when mine crashed, and I think that TxTallTales mentioned having to delete a spam comment as well when his went kerplooie.

I may just test that a little later by adding a comment and deleting it on some old story.

Yep! mines the same.At least I can still read comments from the log in page on individual stories. Still rough when you have a couple of hundred. LOL Just reading the two newest ones right now.
