Eateries in your area...

A few of the restaurants I've enjoyed over the years...some are chains and obviously available in areas other than where I list.

In Charlotte, NC...

On The Border....this is a chain with locations all over the eastern half of the US. It's mexican food, but with a little more of an American touch. I think it's excellent. Make sure you get the chicken empanadas...they are worth the trip alone, IMO.

The Bonefish Grill..only went there once, but the Mahi Mahi was absolutely incredible. I must have said 20 times, "I can't believe this is this freaking good" lol

Carrabbas...an Italian Restaurant chain. Very good and I am an Italian LOVER!!

In Dilliner, Pa...this is where I am staying right now. It's out in the middle of nowhere but there is a restaurant here that serves some of the best Italian food and other types as well. Doubtfully, anyone would find themselves here..but if you do, this is excellent. Its called Two Rivers Restaurant.

In Point Marion, PA...this is a couple miles up the road from me. There is a place called Apple Annies. Excellent home cooking. I've heard it's been on the food network. Great country fried steak.

In Detroit, MI..

The Melting Pot...its a fondue place and well worth visiting. Make sure if you have room for dessert to get the turtle..mmmmm.

For Pizza:

Louies pizza in Hazel Park, is excellent, so is Jets Pizza which is a chain all over the Detroit area and Buddy's pizza is very good too.

In Charleston, SC

Bubba Gumps is a good place to visit. It's built on a Forrest Gump theme, and the food is quite good. There is another place downtown that I had Jumbalaya at that I would love to remember the name to...it was awesome. Anyone knowing the area, speak up!

In Chicago, IL

The best pizza there, IMO is Genos East..INCREDIBLE Chicago style pie...mmmm

Man oh man...this is a bad question for a chef. I have eaten at some of the most amazing places in the world.

For where I currently reside, there is a little cafe called The Hershey Pantry that makes some of the most heavenly pancakes ever.

In Bethesda, MD there is a tapas restaurant that I am a fan of called Jaleo owned by Jose Andres for you foodies out there.

Of course, if you're in LA-LA Land, you gotta try Gordon Ramsay's London West Hollywood.

For asian food, there is no place like Masa in NYC.

Speaking of NYC, you also should try out Lombardi's pizzeria in the heart of Little Italy, as well as Pete Luger's Steakhouse.

In Chi-town, there's Charlie Trotter's for steaks, Tru for cajun food, and of course, A Tavola for Italian.

There...my two cents :)
