Haven't had any sales for Dirty, Sexy Girls in almost two weeks now, though it's still listed as "live" on Amazon Kindle.
When they pull a title, do they e-mail you and tell you about it?
By the way, my blog is going strong on wordpress. The link is below. Check it out!

I don't know if they notify you or not as none of my books have been pulled, but you'll know when it's pulled. It will no longer be on offer. As long as the book shows that you can order and a reader does, the order will be filled.

Amazon is not as bad as a regular book store in short shelf life, but there too a book will fall off in sales if nothing is done to keep it in the readers' eyes (like being favorably reviewed by an independent reviewer and/or following it up with the next book soon--and in e-booking that means within about a month).

A book a month. Seems like quality would suffer.
Also, I ain't no Bulwer-Lytton, no matter what the weather at night is.:D

I think I did note on an earlier thread what it takes to sell e-books well in the marketplace--something more than a one-off book, published only to one distribution point, and backed up with a Web site or blog with no plan to attract readers. It isn't that easy.

No, it's not easy. I did establish the blog, and it appears to be taking off. Link below (hint, hint).

But, by your own statement, not upping your sales (hint, hint).

Sorry, but I ever strive to get authors to keep reality in view in their marketplace experience.

The blog might help in time, but you need to do all sorts of other things as well if you want to take off in sales. If you're satisfied with what "is," than there's nothing to be gained by wondering why sales are down.
