Believe it or not, I was a kid once. One time, I called someone a "fag", and my mom asked me if I knew what that word meant. She then explained it to me, explained the weight of the word, and suggested I should be more careful about using it in the future. What an utterly odd thing for a parent to do, right?

chillywilly2's comments in that post clearly suggest he wouldn't have taken that course of action with his kid when it comes to the word "nigger". His choice - it is what it is. Personally, I think it sucks - and it belongs in the context of this thread and whether or not I'd want him teaching my own kids (if I had any).

Having been attacked for being loyal to my friends I can tell you that it's a thankless job on this board. Defending friends on this board seems to be a just another avenue to criticism around here. The only qualities in a person's personality that seem to be highly prized around here is an ability to cleverly insult others. You can be as uninformed as a rock but still lauded as being the smartest person on the board. Otherwise you're a moron and don't know anything about anything.

When my Autistic brother calls you a nigger then you can call him retarded. Okay? It's not just Obama, it is others that laugh at developmentally challenged. And where did I say it was okay?
