I write incest stories that contain male bisexuality. Each time I post a new story I get quite a few hateful comments and personal messages. Most commonly I get comments telling me to post my "crap" in the gay section. I have even received death threats!

I don't mind readers telling me that my writing or a story sucks, but when people hate me and give me poor ratings just because they don't fancy male-male action in a story it makes me feel funny. Even posting warnings with each story doesn't help. Some haters just try to knock you down after reading the warning!

I am sure if I post my stories in the gay section then I will probably get hate male from our gay readers, or maybe they are a more tolerant bunch and welcome me with open arms?

Maybe it's time for us to have a section dedicated to bisexual stories, or do you think readers will still think that a bisexual section should be reserved for bisexual females?

Stories containing female bisexuality are considered straight. I guess all this uncalled for hatred is finally getting to me. Why can't people accept the fact that there are men who enjoy both sexes?

Well I can't change the way people think or react, but I can wish for a section on Literotica where I can post my stories without having to worry about receiving death threats.

I've been asking for an expansion of the categories beyond the straight for years. I'd save my breath on that if I was you. It doesn't look like that's going to happen. There's one GM category and one lesbian category and no bi category and that's apparently the way it's going to be.

I'd also post any MMF stories to the Gay Male category. I do and don't get hate mail on them there.

I'm with both of you. I have long advocated for a bi section, but to little avail. I do have one continuing suggestion: Start a poll, should there or should there not be a bi section. Suggestions would be yes, no, maybe, don't care. In order to be fair to all members, this poll should be posted in the General Board.

I have had several messages and seen several posts from more than one moderator who also favor such a section. The results from the poll should be then sent to every person associated with the site.

I am sure that with such a section, your overall scorces would go up, and more people would add you to their favorites list. Obviously, I am a totally bi guy, but you know how I would vote.

There is a lot of support for such a section, but someone has to take the initiative and time to force this to a decision.

Let us know. And if you want to see real hate mail, try posting a bi story under loving wives.

Try to ignore the negative and hateful comments. As you can see, there are plenty of people who do enjoy the stories you write. Please don't give up writing!

This situation has been a sore spot for me lately but here is what one author wrote to me, helping me get back into perspective and look past the hypocritical trolls/banshees:

"People come here for many different reasons, but the core reason for everyone is that it makes their day a little nicer. Some people feel warm inside when they read erotic stories and go to sleep with a smile. Some people masturbate. Whatever it takes.

Now, imagine the person with a life so dismal, coming to lit and trashing someone's dirty story is the highlight of their day. Pretty sad, isn't it.

Be thankful you are the person with the imagination and the drive to put the words in the story and not the sad little fuck who only feels big when they try to smack someone else down."

I agree there should be a Bi section. Though I have no desire to read Bi/Gay material, I think there should be an outlet here on Literotica for such stories. Those like myself can then easily avoid stories that offend us without restrictions on those who enjoy it. No author should ever be subjected to flaming comments or death threats just because their story has offended some thin skinned loser. When I find a story I don't like, it's so simple to just click it away. Don't let a few losers ruin your enjoyment of the written word. Good luck!

new on the block...wondering about the culture here

I've been writing erotica for quite a few years but just recently discovered this site, posted some stories, and have been trolling the discussion board to get a feel for the culture here.

I just posted a really long story (150,000+ words) containing an MMF threesome scene (two of them actually) woven in amongst the other (many other) hetero and girl-girl scenes. Then I discovered this thread and have been waiting for the flames to start coming my way. So far, nothing, which is fine by me.

I'm wondering if those proposing a bi-sexual page are considering that idea for stories where the main focus is bi activity or for when there might only be one or two bi male scenes in a longer work.

Just curious. This has been a great experience so far, although I find the age restriction in content a bit hard to take, but that's a topic for another thread.

Probably where it's the main theme that MMF gets criticized. I have MMF bisexual included with a couple of stories here that have been posted to some other category than GM (I don't get backlash for MMF in stories I post to the GM category). One is a two-parter, and I did get some backlash on that. The other goes to over twenty chapters, and there has been no mention of the MMF elements. Perhaps those grinding the ax for MMF won't look too hard for it.

Nonetheless, I tend to publish my MMF stories elsewhere.

That's true. Too often the vanilla types think bisexual women having sex is straight
sex. They are ridiculous.
