Regarding tense issues
I do that all the time in first person narratives, sometimes in third. I like the feel of it. But yah, its a rule I break intentionally (usually)
 
This thread keeps me entertained and the women are hot...no wonder I come back to read again and again. Not even to play catch up, just to read the flow and enjoy it...

I did my best in making the different sides of her clear.
Keep in mind that this is the first time I've ever written a character like this, so I dunno how good it is compared to the others.
