Hi everyone, reasonably new on Lit, living in Canberra and orignally from Melbourne. Took me a while to find this thread, I got stuck on the picture posts a bit. cheers

Hey Bulldog,

Yep I did the same thing when I first joined, who knew this thread was around. Welcome on board!

I visited Canberra a couple of years ago to do some recon on moving up there and I was pleasantly suprised. No traffic jams and easy to get around. Previously I was always up there for work. I hear they are putting in an International Terminal. That may increase the people traffic up there.

Yes I BLURTED & VENTED big time as I went there this morning & was told I'd have to wait an hour & half to be seen for one script (a couple of minutes at most seeing it's all done on PC now, quicker with the old way of pen & paper) so they say make an appointment for larer today so I say OK then appointment time nears & I'm back early 1.15pm I'm there for my 1.30pm appointment & get told I'l have to wait a minimum of 1 hour maybe 2 so I lost it & told them that was it never again would I put up with an hour or 2 for appointments for a fucking GP who wants to charge for people who are late for their appointments! WTF!

Hey Gil,

I feel your pain. Everytime I go to the clinic, I'm supposed to be the first appointment, but sure enough there is always someone ahead of me and I'm kept waiting. It happens on a regular basis. Then one time I was talking to the doc about the normal medical stuff. When I come out I'm told I have to pay extra because I took longer than normal. They don't say that on those adds about talking to your doctor regarding your medical issues...sure but any longer than 15mins and you're on the meter. I also like the "preventive medicine" angle giving you one more pill just to be preventive. This is code for "we don't want you clogging up the medical system cause we can't cope...it's only for those people who are really sick".

Smiles and hugs to A/all.

Been awhile since I've been on, even my stalking of tossers has been scaled back...oh I know I am awful but......

Well counting down to SinCity visit next friday, be there for The Gathering. Quite looking forward to burning up the town...and the occassional spanking leaving a burning feeling on my bottom as well ;)

Come November and I am off for a solo jaunt around New Zealand for two weeks or so. Wellington to Dunedin look out! Going on the Inter-Islander ferry from Wellington to Picton so that should be beautiful and hopefully calm, please, please calm. Not a good seawoman at all. Of course brother keeps telling me of the ferries that have rolled over....*vomit* I was squeamish on the water taxi in Sin City a few months ago...didn't help that he turned the engine off and left us to "ride the waves and wash" just under the harbour bridge whilst he got everyone to pay him, a tactic that worked. Meanwhile I was moaning with each heave of the keel...only one reason I like to moan when there is an upward thrust and in a little bathtub boat it ain't.:(

I hope everyone is well and enjoying better weather than we've all seemed to have had the last few weeks.

Be well, stay safe and mmm do wickedness, it keeps you smiling.

:kiss:MsMoon:kiss:

Ps Mr Gil and bandit, looking forward to that coffee with you both. Did get the number and will give you a ring on the saturday most likely Mr Gil. Arrive Friday night and Sir has said we are um... err... tied up for a little and then there is the fetish market to go to....smiles....can't wait to see what I get for my birthday....laughs.

Ms Moon ,

I did the same ferry trip from Wellington to Picton. When they say ferry what the mean is a bloody big boat, so it ain't not bobbing cork thing. If the weather is right you will get some nice views from the top deck.
You seriously want to go to Dunedin? It's wet and cold most of the time. Granted it has Scottish type buildings there, but since you are going south why not try Milford Sound...very pretty part of NZ, great scenery. It is on the other side of the south island.

I know I turned 30 on the 24th sept and then it was like celebrate birthday and was thinking about my daughters which is the 15th of this month and already Christmas stuff is up... I took her shopping to see what she showed interest in and all she did was talk about Christmas the whole time *sighs*

Sounds like Bandit lives a very active and very fun life to me ...GO BANDIT *grins*

Happy Birthday cowgirl :rose:

Good to see you posting again, so I guess you're past the yummy mummy status and in to the mature zone. I will be good and not state that other thing. A friend of mine turned 50 in Sept, can't believe she is that age then again I don't quite believe my own age. It doesn't feel like it belongs to me when I have to write it down.

Hope you had a good birthday.

Hi all in Oz!

I hear you about all of the Xmas stuff being out already! :D It just seems so wrong. I guess I'm just more of a "purest." Gee, that sounds like a bit of an oxymoron on this site... ;)

Hope everyone is doing well and keeping each other warm. I know summer is on its way there, but spring can be a tad nippy. :D

Hi Kayte

Yep all us guys are awaiting our first sighting of the red breasted tit wobbler...unfortunately the women still wear their coats to work which is the natural enemy of this lovely but sensitive creature...however I have sighted the 'legus longus shortus dressis' thanks to the warmer temps..unfortunately there are still too many 'fukwittesus' ...we should organize a culling before summer.

Evening all,

Hope the week is going well and if not... then not long to go now before you can put this one behind you.

Well in Melbourne town, it is like someone flicked the heat switch on to over 20. Been kinda warm all of a sudden, even the rain hasn't cooled it off. Nice thunder and lightning show a few minutes ago. All quite now.

We can wash our cars again..which is a pain in the butt cause now I don't have an excuse. Stage 2 water restrictions at least until the end of the year so most people are happy about that.

Not been here since Aug, mainly due to work stuff which is easing off kinda. The replay of the Grand Final was a bit of a let down, unless you are a Pies fan. At least they can all afford to get their teeth fixed now with their winnings. Westies unite! You can tell their happy their moccasins make a louder shuffling noise.

But we are on to the Comm Games now. I hear they were finishing the track as the Athletes were about to compete. They must have employed one of those Just In Time processes. Now that is 2 billion dollars spent well.

hi everyone :)

well, HE is home again..... with a broken cheek, 2 knocked out teeth and a [possible] jaw fracture. plus the black eye from the bruising!
i did warn HIM that in darwin there are no rules, so fighting isn't such a good idea!
it's ok tho - HE didn't get in trouble from the cops because the other guys started it (although there may be charges on HIM due to 'excessive force' at a later date if the other lot want to press charges because HE's used HIS martial arts, and HE left 3 of the 4 guys knocked out.)

on a nicer note.... HE brought me a pressie back.
one of the most beautiful pearls i've ever seen! i'll take a pic the first time i wear it and post it here. it's a natural blue!!!

we've kicked the kidlets out for 2 days to have our reunion time
but i have to be gentle with HIM as HE's a bit sore, lol :D

We will not be remembered by our words,
but by our kind deeds.

Life is not measured by the breaths we take,
but by the moments that take our breath..

But who are the ones deciding who is sick ?????

Knee & hip replacements are elective to the system but talk to the patient who has been in pain & struggling with steps, hills, getting in & out of seats, getting in & out of cars & even inclines all cause pain plus even time spent standing & moving in creases pain.

Bad news from my heart specialist is that she sees the medical system making it everyone pays whyich I replied "If that is the case I guess there will be a lot of struggling people going untreated & deaths will solve the demands on the system so that is one fantastic idea":mad:

He's not so little! 4.365 kg or 9lb 10oz, 55cm long. And he looks a lot like Rasher ;)

ICR had to have a C-section, baby decided to turn breech at the last minute. By all accounts both mum and baby are doing well, and Rasher survived being in the operating theatre :D
