Well, that was rushed. Now I should go through all of it again and make sure everything is finished up. I should...
 
The new bathroom is causing problems.

The plumbers have found three separate water supplies into the house. We only knew about two, so when they cut a pipe after turning off two supplies - that pipe was still connected and we now have a slightly damaged ceiling.

The washbasin supplied was incorrect. It is intended for a vanity unit, not to go on a pedestal. The box markings were for the right basin. The contents didn't match the label. The correct one won't arrive until Thursday.

Some of the bath's small fittings were missing. If another store has them I'll have to drive fifty miles to collect them this evening. If not, delivery is expected in two to three weeks.

The house's original owners had stuck the bathroom's floor tiles to the floorboards with cement which couldn't be removed so we've had to replace the bathroom's floor.

Why did we decide we wanted a new bathroom?

Edited for PS. Now have the small fittings. The round trip was only 68 miles.

I've not much time these day, so I'm rarely here.

Let your stories stay here, the next sweep will improve them both, I'm sure of that. :)
 
I was watching the new Hawaii Five-0 last night when I noticed (right away) that they are driving around in my car (well, a less expensive model, they have the LY and I have the SS :D ).

But I also noticed that they are "driving around" with the locks up instead of down. The locks automatically go down when the car is moving (not that I couldn't tell it was a projected background before I noticed that, but that makes it even more obvious to me :D ).

And who's car is that supposed to be anyway? Dano was shown with it when dropping off his daughter in the beginning of the episode, but Steve is the one shown "driving" it the rest of the time.

This is all so confusing...
 
Today is the seven year anniversary of my first kung fu class, and I weigh almost exactly the same as I did back then...

Well at least I have more muscle this time around :D
 
I have just found a printout of a story I started in 2001, before I found Literotica.

It is another episode in my Silverbridge Chronicles. I posted the completed ones in 2002 and added more later. The last, still incomplete, I posted in 2006. I haven't returned to them for years.

Should I finish the old story or just leave it alone? I'm not sure I want to, or can, write as I did nine years ago.

Lunch route wasn't flooded. But there has been a weird pattern in the rain today. Every time I go out to my car it is raining, and every time I get out of my car it isn't. Leave for work, rain. Get to work, dry. Leave for lunch, rain, get to lunch, not raining. Go back to work, rain, get back to work, not. Leave for kung fu, leave for dinner, leave for home, raining. Get to kung fu, get to dinner, get home, not raining at all.

And I didn't think I pushed myself that hard tonight, but hot damn am I tired now...
 
The question was "The greatest pain in my life is...." and I felt so lucky I had to dig deep for answer. It's there, it's just not right on the surface anymore. I'm so glad I'm not 20 anymore.
 
I do have to remember to come round here more often. Stupid writing deadlines get in the way!

I just got feedback asking me to write more foul language and less narrative, with some preggo and pee play for variety. Talk about wanting the opposite of what I prefer to write.
 
Too much to do- not enough hours in the day.
I wanna write. I wanna spend more quality time with my boyfriend. I wanna take my dogs for walks.
I get to come home, make dinner, eat, play on here for a minute, play with him for a minute, then go to bed.
I need more days off. :cool:
