Check your "submissions" page for the status. If it's been over a week, "pm" Laurel (you msg them thru the "stickies") and ask. Story contest is in full swing, so "subs" are gonna take longer than usual.

In order to send a PM, they must be on first.

Borrowed from snooper:

Please ensure that you have switched on your Private Messages. Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the next box down (Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators) is NOT ticked. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

What they said, snoopy has a certain knack for turning stereo manuals somewhat interesting don't you think. ;)

Now that aside you asked the question, your not supposed to ask the question. :devil:Key in ominous music here:devil: Now as has been mentioned there is a contest ongoing at the moment. What I am about to say doesn't have much bearing on it I'll come to that after. It generally takes three days to get a story, first stories tend to take an extra day so that Fred, William, and Pedro can read them twice. If Pedro has gotten into the sauce and forgotten English again it takes a day longer so he can relearn English. If you do not have three of the word THE in every paragraph you get an extra day waiting. You must have three, no more no less, if you have less it is an affront to shrubberies the world over. If you have more you insult the great knights who no longer say Ni and they are just so ornery about that.

Now on to the contest ongoing and submitting a non contest story. You really shouldn't do that, the contest are ever so important to someone so non contest stories take longer because the person they are important to can be happy to get the contest stories faster. Nobody knows who the contests are important to, no one admits to finding them important but they are always there every time a contest comes up. It is rumored that this contest lover is really a troll under the bridge on Madison street, no one knows which bridges on which Madison Street but that is the rumor. Now to help your story get posted during contest when it is a non contest story you must sprinkle crumbled oreo doublestuffs and crumbled saltines about your computer so the hamsters inside can have a snack and go faster because as we all know faster hamsters means a faster computer and that's always a good thing.

Now in regular person terms, stories are supposed to be three days, first stories of an account take four days so they can read it a little better. When it comes to posting a non contest story during a contest double that, if you say click on the pending while you are waiting it is listed as a new submission and sent to the bottom of the list so you know don't do that.

I think I'm in love. :)

As has already been said, during contest times, all else grinds, well, not to a halt, exactly, but to a crawl. Be patient.

The grinding seems to be relative as well, my last few stories got posted in three days, perhaps faster it's hard to keep track when there is no submitted on date.

Possible Onna is one of the people looking at the stories, pretty sure none of my stories go into the contests. ;)

Really? I just went into nostalgia for World of Warcraft. My old guild was the Knights Who Say Ni.

The knights who no longer say Ni totally pwn your knights who say Ni, I think I said that right.

I think it's "The Knights who say Doo-whop fiddly-flop wheep-ninny tit-burger." Very difficult to pronounce.

I laughed, I did that was good. :D

Don't mind us folks, we are totally off in la la land. ;)

The writer in question failed to produce "a shubbbery!"

My story is also waiting ailing, dying of thirst and hunger, I feel your pain.

Patience. Cna you snatch this pebble from my hand?

Hey, I said "hand"!

Leave @those@ alone, lol

Yup, sick and twisted, demented to the nth degree. Admittedly, even pridefully.

Gotta be good at something!
