So somebody tell me what it is you do to kill time and keep the blues away when you're bored and missing your SO or PYL or however you refer to whoever it is you're missing.

When he's out of town, I do all the stuff that needs to be done anyway that I usually put off for more fun things when he's around.

B left for a business trip Wednesday morning and doesn't get back until Tuesday, so I've been wasting time surfing the net here and other sites I like to read when I'm not busy. That grows boring though too so yesterday night at the last minute, I talked my girlfriends into a girl's night out, we haven't done that in a while and it was fun! Today and tomorrow, the calendar is full of fun stuff like grocery shopping and scrubbing the house until it shines. I'll probably work late Monday (have some things I should do at the office I can only do after most of the office is clocked out, but I've put off working late since we moved in together, might as well get that work done when there's not much better to do right?)

I already have a half day scheduled for Tuesday so I can pick him up at the airport but I'm thinking of taking the morning off also to get hair and nails done for a special "welcome back" welcome. It's only a week but man, it feels like ten years have gone by so far!

i kept texting him but then my phone died I was at a birthday party and all my dumb but did was keep thinking dang can this hurry up and be over any faster so i can get home and charge my phone so i cam text or call.

Oh I got chores to do I NEED to do but have put them off.

i just remind myself that even though i may not be in His presence, i am still His. He still owns me, even when W/we are not together physically. "Life" has to continue in the vanilla ways too But i am always serving, even if it's just in my attitude or thoughts. i smile knowing i will see Him soon also, having something planned in the future to look forward to helps

As I tell my kids, boredom is a privileged and an opportunity. Without it, I suspect that many people wouldn't have had the imagination to invent things that have made our lives easier and therefore more open to possible boredom.

I'm rarely bored because I enjoy things like reading, writing, gaming, hanging out with my buds, day dreaming and much more.

I often miss my husband who is not home a great deal of the time. I tend to goof off a great deal and enjoy my alone time though.
