Remember when.....

Remember Roller Discos???????? OOooohh yeah!! Lots of cool moves, skating backward, twirling around??

I can roller skate well, but tried the same moves on ice skates, and ended up spraining one guys ankle, and dislocating anothers shoulder - meanwhile I wobbled off uninjured, a scene of chaos behind me!!

I used to have hair like that once... well... okay.. it was a mullet... but hey! Back then it ROCKED!!!! :: Jams out with AIR GUITAR!!! ::
 
remember when?

(my mother got me one of those when psychotherapists said a laptop would be a good idea for me, because the schools wouldn't pay for a nice Toshiba....in 1997)
 
Draggy - I dont remember that laptop but I do remember our first computer, a Commodor that plugged into the TV. I thought that if I randomly punched keys I would accidentally hack into the White-house! This was of course 10 years before I say my first modem and even then it was an actual phone that attached to another machine somehow.:D

*laughs* That would be bad enough, except for a laptop meeting my requirements at the time, it would have been five grand, and would have to have been imported from Japan.

TOTALLY agree with that one Trixa god I had a crush on him something bad, then it was tommy lee from Motley Crue.....I think its safe to say I had a bad boy thing.

Ohh the mullet! Back when it was hard to tell who used more hair products, me or my boyfriend! I would have been one of the big haired girls wearing lace gloves and leg warmers.
 
Hell freaking yeah!!!! :: Air guitar!!!! :: My hair was the bomb and I had the bomber mirrored glasses to boot!!!! It seriously made up for the 1974 Gremlin I had to drive... LOL
 
I remember..
-Playing Atari with the controller between my feet.
-Leaving a note in the morning and staying out until the streetlights came on.. my mother knowing i was either fishing or in the woods somewhere and wouldn't starve to death or get lost/taken.
-legos.. um yes please.. for hours
-when GIJoe was barbies lil bitch...
-my first computer came with cassettes
-writing lines of computer code on paper for homework.. and typing them out in class
-i remember taking typing in a completely dark classroom and no one was arrested
-when you got caught playing with matches you got your ass beat.. not therapy.
-and i so don't want to remember the hair...
-oh... and i remember the corner store still carrying Beta next to the new VHS.


I like atari so much I have three.. and a nintendo with working gun.
 
Remember when things like THIS were nothing but concepts?

Or when it didn't take 4 pounds of ground beef to make a single quarter pound (post cooking) hamburger patty?
