I have met 2 women from Lit. Both were fun but neither lasted into a LT relationship but it is tough to do under certain circumstances. Hoping that one day I do find that special person.

I think that perhaps special is an understatement. There's a fusion of body and mind that hovers just beyond reach. That one woman who makes your mind sing while your body bleeds. Not that pain is necessary for pleasure, but there are ways that the mind can enthrall another that overrides and enhances pleasure beyond what entangled flesh can do itself. If I find THAT on lit, I'll be amazed. Hell, if it's anywhere...

I think this is the most crap statement ever. Everybody says it, "You'll find love when you quit looking."
Fact is, nobody ever quits looking for love. They might just be trying to ignore it, or trying to make themselves busy in an attempt to quit. But in the back of their mind, they're looking.
I love to hear, "I'm single and not looking." Especially on this forum, I LOL. Right... you're not looking on the Personals Playground.
Love is a drug. It's chemistry. And we dig ourselves into an addiction to love just like an alcoholic does with beer. We're druggies - nothing will stop us from looking. Nothing.
What people really mean is that they accidently find it. It wasn't where it was supposed to be, and they tripped over it in the process. That's the best kind of love. It's like waking up Christmas morning, except the only catch is that Christmas was on a random day out of the year. Exciting, huh?

I was reluctant to post here, but after thinking about it, I decided to go for it. I've met many people here, some of which I have met irl.
I just wrote out a long, flowery response to your question, and then deleted it - because I was afraid that it would sound too corny.
So - the edited version - I have several friendships that have started here, and I hope they will be lifelong. I have also met a few people on here that have screwed me over - HARD. I've met people that have offered me fulfillment in ways I never knew possible, and others that helped me through a bumpy time, fixed me while in a state of "frenzy" and offered advice. Some good, some bad. Along the way, I've felt accepted, sexy, and experienced things that have broadened my horizons. I've also felt anguish, pain, and hurt. Lit, like anything else in life, must be a balance. Its not the be all, end all in life for me - but I've found out things about myself that I probably wouldn't have elsewhere.

I've found two girls that live far far away that I feel a strong connection to, but will probably never meet in RL.
And there's one girl that's just far enough away, we can't pursue anything in RL, but close enough that it's still in the back of our minds.

While I have had a couple Lit experiences, I went into them knowing it was nothing long-term. And I do thoroughly enjoy those times with them.
And of course there are couple others that I would enjoy spending lots of time getting to know better and closer and umm...naked
There is one though that could quite possibly be something more real, if only our current lives and situations were different. But maybe that's part of the appeal.
