My first thread! Here goes:

Every relationship has a soundtrack.
There was the song we danced to as we were first dating.
There was the song that marked the anniversary of something special.
There was THE song that summed everything up for both of us, and that one became "Our Song."

Here's an example:
One of the songs on our soundtrack is "Shameless" (the Garth Brooks version). It sums up everything about us. There are others but that one has a special place as "Our Song" for many reasons.

I love that one. "Need You Now" is gorgeous too.

Here's another of ours: "21 Guns" by Green Day.

Red was going through a very difficult time when we met. This song helped her through it. Now whenever we hear the song it is a reminder of the time we were getting to know each other.

I Looooove that song. Was never "our song" but was definitely a song that reminded me of my boyfriend at the time. Such a beautiful song.

That song is pretty perfect in describing the situation between my boyfriend and I. Only difference? He's more like 4000 miles away.

Other ones are:
"Somewhere Out There" - An American Tail - it also describes the distance between us really well.. I got a music box with this song because of it.
"1234" - Plain White T's - this is the song I sang to him when we got back together
"Love Story (Where Do I Begin)" - Andy Williams - a song he used to sing to me a lot
"Once Upon a Dream" - Billy Fury - another song he sings to me a lot
"Everytime We Touch (Candlelight Version)" - Cascada


And silly as it seems..
"You Are My Sunshine" - as childish as this song sounds, it's really sweet when we sing it to each other.

Can't say it's exactly our theme song, but whenever I hear "Feels Like The First Time" by Foreigner, it always reminds me of how I heard it on our first date.
