IF you want to upload photos but confused about how to proceed, this is the article for you.

I'll upload every tutorial here one by one.

1. How do I remove / blurr the face, wedding ring,ear-rings, birth-marks etc from the photo?

Some really really Basic information...don't be shy, nobody is born a genius!

1. if you want to transfer the photos taken in your mobile phone to your computer,then you've to connect the mobile phone to your computer via a USB cable or Blue-tooth or wifi. See the instruction booklet and CD that came with your mobile.
2. if you want to transfer the photos from your digital camera to computer, you've to pickout its memory card and insert it in your laptop's card-reader slot or connect the camera via USB-wire,bluetooth or wifi.
3. If you've a webcam with a wire, you've to install its software from the CD. so a program will run and you can shoot photos using it. if it didnot come with a CD, then download any freeware from google search
4. If you've a laptop with built-in camera or a moniter with built-in camera, first you're supposed to insert its drivers from the motherboard CD. Now goto Start Menu>control panel>Scanners and Camera, you'll find it there.

Once you connect your mobile or digital camera. You can double click on My computer icon on the desktop.
and it'll be listed as a drive in it.
Now double click the drive or memorycard icon and, you'll be able to access it.
Explore it.Select the photos> right click > Copy
Goto My document >My pictures>right click (or create a new folder anywhere)> Paste.

Once you've the photos in your harddisk you can easily upload them on forum or any other imagehost site

Yes you don’t want your relatives or friends or spouse to find out that you’re uploading naked or semi-naked photos here? Then you should blur it.

There are plenty of softwares for accomplishing this, but my favorite is a free software named Paintdotnet. You can download it by clicking on following link

You can just draw a black box over your face in Microsoft paint but that makes it quite unprofessional, ugly and not so HOT. So instead we’ll blur it.
Install paintdotnet
Open your image using it. See this screenshot for reference.

Now select the part you want to blur. Using the Rectangle selection button in the left toolbar.

Goto ‘Effects Menu>Blur>Gaussian Blur

And move the slider until it meets your requirement of blurring.

Notice that instead of doing a blackbox- it’ll blur the image which matching surrounding colors so its looks less ugly than a plain blackbox with Microsoft Paint.

Now open the photo using that program
Press ‘D’ or right click on image , a menu pops up select Edit> Drawboard. click on this photo below

You get this new window, click on the Text button and write whatever you want.

If you upload photo today. Someone might post it in different forum claiming it to be his/hers. So you want to watermark your photos to prevent this. Or may be you just want to add the date or something like that on each photo?

There are plenty of softwares for accomplishing this, but my favorite is a free software named Faststone image viewer. You can download it by following link

Lets assume we’ve 20 photos to watermark.

Open that folder or photo, using FSviewer and press F3. (or goto Tools Menu> Batch convert images)

So you get this window and add all photos for the input list as per your needs, like this screenshot

Select the output folder where you want to save the resultant images

Tick on the on the Advanced Options, and click on its button. So you get a new window.

Now ‘Text ’ Tab and select the way you want to display your watermark. Something like this photo

Once done, click on Ok and then on Convert button and your job will be done!

Using the same trick, you can also rename multiple files, change their resolution, quality etc.

How to optimize an image for quick upload?
If you are importing the photos from your mobile or digital cam, many times they’re huge in size like 1MB, 2MB and such photos take lot of time for uploading, especially if you have a lousy slow speed internet. At the same time you also don’t want to drastically reduce the quality or resolution of the photos.

Again very easy

Download install a free-software called Faststone viewer /FSViewer by following link

Now open the photo, press F3
You get this window. Add the required photos to the input list
and then

Select the output format as ‘JPEG’ and click on Settings button and reduce the quality as per requirement.
Select the output folder where you want to save the resultant images

Finally click on ok > Convert and you’ll get optimized images.

How to Resize an image to 800x600 pixel so forum attachment doesn’t give me error?
If you want to upload your photos right into the forum as attachments, it’ll give you error if your photos are bigger than 800 x 600 pixel size.

So you’ve two options

1. Upload the photo outside , like on flickr, imagebam,photobucket OR

2. Resize your photo to 800 x 600

Assuming that you want to gofor option #2.

Download and install free software named Faststone image-viewer

Open the photo using it.

Press F3

Now you get batch converter widow, here you select one or more photos for input.

Click on advanced options button
Select ‘Resize Tab’, tick the resize button and pick up the standard size, do as shown in photo

How do I upload naked or high-resolution images?

IF you want upload images as attachements in the forum itself , then as per rules you can’t upload naked photos or photos in resolution higher than 800x600.

In this scenario, we’ve to upload the photos outside the forum.

Means we need an imagehost. There are plenty like *********,photobucket,flickr,imagebam.

Take anyone, register a free account there, so you don’t have much problem in deleting the photos later on.

Now

1. upload the photos on that imagehost site

2. in most cases it’ll give you a BBcode or direct link,

3. Now create a new thread here in the forum and paste those BBcodes in it so it’ll show the image-thumbnail, on which the members can click and goto that site to see photo in better resolution.

What separates a no0b’s photo from a Professional model’s photo is lightening and camera angle.

I’m not a professional photographer. Just a random guy who learned a few tricks from experience. Here they’re….

Most of us don’t have the luxury to purchase some expensive Sony-Cybershot camera or camera-stand or lights. But you can always improvise.

Lights

Always remember, it takes more lights for a good photo, than the light required for reading or doing normal work.

A table lamp with flexible limbs helps more than anything.

You can use it at the specific height and focus the light on specific body-part of yours.

Consider shooting the photo in a room with light-colored walls.



Anonymity

You intend to do some erotic , naked shots, then you wouldn’t want your relatives, friends etc. to find it out.

In that case you need to make sure you don’t wear the routine jewelry like wedding rings, ear-rings.

Also don’t take the photos in a place where items can be easily identified, like in your drawing room or compound or garage or a wall with books and photo-frams in the shelf!

I already explained in previous post, How to remove the face or other things. So use it, incase you made any mistake!

Angle of the camera

You can use self-timed shots.

If you’ve a webcam, it comes with a software CD, that allows you to capture photos at every 20 seconds or whatever you wish. If you don’t have that Cd, you can always google search for plenty of free-softwares available out there!

Avoid doing the mirror shots in the bathroom, because they can never capture the beauty properly. Most cases it gets messed up due to improper lights.

Use the boxes, chairs,thick-books to adjust the height and angle of camera during the shooting.

Face-shots

Wash the face with soap before the photoshoot.

Use a tissue paper to remove the excessive oil from the nose and cheeks because that’ll glare up with the lights and ruin the photo.

Red Eye

The red eye In the photo, can be easily removed using Faststone image-viewer. See this photo
