Hi, I'm BB, and I'm new. Okay, with that virginal moment over with....I just want to say something. I'm not new to writing but I'm new to literotica. I'm hoping that I can, through writing, re-tap into that childhood tingle you had when erotic was more about energy and less about bumping of flesh (okay, that's good energy too ). I was telling a friend about how horny I became at age 11 when my 'crush' slowly moved his leg a millimeter closer to my leg on the bleachers one summer day. The electricity of the anticipation was enough to send my heart rate fluttering and make my young mind *wander*.

Now as a grown woman and mother, I miss that spark. Love and electricity are very different. That electricity is my own fantasy where I get lost and hide out from life.

Wishing you luck. I usually try to write the emotion of it rather than the energy and tingle (although I've tried that on occasion too). I find dealing with the emotion of it helps to place it in an actual story and it more easily becomes something more than a vignette.

Your problem is a familiar one for erotica writers. Some people write for themselves and some write for others. The spark comes from your connection to the reader. Treat your reader as if they were a pen pal, every word you write is for their eyes, and you will have the spark.
