$258 billion iis greater than $1800 billion, right?
And $258 billion is greater than $4400 billion, right?

Just trying to learn the rules of Republican 'rithmatic... thanks!

Not if you're talking Riley.
"I know you're immature but what am I?"

Oh, for God's sake...

You can't contribute anything to this conversation but your inane rants... oh yeah, I forgot, you already said you don't even understand the subject matter.

I'm quite certain that I'm not the only person unaware of where you found those numbers. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't pull them out of thin air. Course I could be wrong.

For the uninitiated...

- $258 billion how much the Obama tax cuts cost
- $1800 billion is how much the Bush tax cuts cost through 2009
- $4400 billion is what extending the Bush tax cuts for ten more years will cost

Exactly, man.

Sean Renaud even posted in your thread about this subject. For him to not recognize what this thread is about just shows how bad his short term memory is... WTF indeed.

Then if we're all being honest men shouldn't we tell something closer to the truth.
Bush Tax Cuts 1.8 Trillion (thought it was 1.4 two seconds ago) over eight years comes out to 225 per year. Obama 258 in one year.

258>225

Now the fact that the 258 was justified and important and the 225 was irresponsible and only served to make the rich richer (and is somehow sucessfully sold as good for us all to millions) doesn't change. Unless I did my math wrong.

The Heritage Foundation cut that estimate to $1.35 trillion; I rounded up.

Then explain to us how $258 billion in unfunded tax cuts somehow is greater, numerically speaking, than $440 billion in unfunded tax cuts per year for 10 years.

That is the proposed Republican tax cuts being pushed now.

$440 billion per year vs $258 billion per year. Which number is higher, Republicans?

Rounded up my ass. Rounding lands at 1.4 or 1.5. I could level with 1.5. 1.8 isn't rounding. It's making up numbers as we go.

How is extending the tax cuts going to jump like that anyway? I'm sure they do I'm just not understanding how 225 becomes 440 simply by extending what's going on now. Obviously the Bush Tax Cuts will cost more cus Obama's tax cuts were just for now while things are so fucked and not just until forever and ever!

Wait, I was going off your 1.4 figure. Where did you get the 1.4 from?

Am I allowed to simply own up and move on (I did the math based on 1.8). I THOUGHT it was 1.4. I may have misread the adjusted numbers I might have spaced out. My bust.

Moving along from my gaff I don't understand how 225 Billion per year become 440 Billion per year by simply extending the curreent tax breaks. Unless Obama's tax breaks are in large part permanent.

Go ahead call me a stupid Uncle Ruckus Boot licking cur bitch who takes it up the ass from his white masters. Get that part out of your system then explain it please because I honestly don't see how extending the Bush tax cuts doubles their impact on a yearly basis. (obviously I understand why 20 years of failed policy is worse than 10) What I'm having trouble with is years 1-10 producing X and years 11-20 producing XX. So twenty years nets triple X not double X.
