On the one hand, I'm really pleased that you're interested in joining. On the other, the more musicians I hire, the more complicated my 1st group thread is going to get. On a slightly related note, would you be interested in playing opposite princesssexci?

FF has since informed me that she's not able to take a role. Leo's love interest if therefore open, or if you prefer, you can wait to see who joins as bassist, drummer and tour manager.

I was wondering if the bassist position was still open for application...I've been looking forward to joining a group thread, but most of the ones I've jumped into have stalled/died. I'm also very interested in the idea of this thread. I've read one similar and it looked like loads of fun, which I hope this to be as well.

Currently we have princesssexci and Zydrate available as groupies. Although the band members aren't going to exactly be monogamous, I figured it would be best to pair up musicians and groupies to start with so nobody ends up mooching around with nobody to do. Groupies can always be passed around though I guess and there's also scope for writers to play a succession of groupies as the band tours, rather than one long term character. That's me hedging my bets as well though, as I've not tried to organise a group thread before.

Um, I'm actually not sure if my character is a groupie or not, I was thinking that I may want to develope her later in the thread as perhaps a love interest but I'm not quite certain yet.

Bio: Ever since Alexandra was a little girl, she never actually enjoyed hard rock. Her dad had been a musician in a hard rock band when she was little which didn’t exactly make it off the ground. Her mother however, had been a popstar in the 80’s which granted them a very wealthy lifestyle in
London. Her lack of love for rock was not what had brought her into the life of rock and roll, following Velocity around like a little lost puppy. In fact, her best friend Mary Kadbury had dragged her to a Velocity concert.
Her eyes met with one of the band members and there was like this instant connection. Ever since, she’d made every effort possible to follow this band around, hoping for a chance to meet him.

I can be the TM, if you want. I'll just update my profile from guitarist to bitter musician who couldn't hack it in his own band. Sounds fun.

It'll also whittle down needed players from 10 to 8. Since the band is not real, we can pretend that 3 actual musicians is plenty for the music they play.

I want to be in the thread and volunteer to play the TM. I sent fuckmeat some ideas that the TM would come up with. Zydrate's intellectual character would be a good fit for the character I have in mind (TM or not).

I meant to get back to you sooner.

You had some very interesting ideas for the TM but they would have made things about nonconsensual BDSM first and a band travelling and playing music second. Plus, the girls we have cast are unlikely to want to RP the kind of noncon nastiness you were suggesting. You're a very talented writer vin but you do have a tendency to get a little carried away and take things to the Nth degree. I'm afraid that makes me reluctant to give you a role as key as TM. Sorry hon, I hope you understand.
