Holy fuck SeanH is an ugly Brit!

Oh my God, that's SeanH? He's so ugly his laptop ran away from him.

Well he ain't Johnny Depp but he ain't ugly either.

I'd go for distinguished, in a South Bank Show kind of way.

Or at the very least seasoned.

Did he post that? Must have missed it ....

I've tried several times to explain crossover primary voting to Sean, but he stubbornly refuses to consider. Why he is so adamant, yet refuses to do his own research, as suggested, is amazing to me. Must be a brit thing.

Lead a horse to water ... repetitively:

In open primary elections in the United States, crossover voting refers to a behavior in which voters who normally participate in the primary of one party instead vote in the primary of another party. The behavior typically happens when the nominee of the one party is a foregone conclusion or when a candidate in one party's primary has an appeal to the voters in another party

The motives for crossover voting are sometimes strategic. Thus crossover voting has been used by voters to cast votes in the party a voter is opposed to in order to nominate a candidate which can be more easily beaten by the candidate the voter actually supports.

As example, some claim that many Democrats and independents had crossed over to vote in the Republican primaries, which resulted in John McCain's nomination.

Crossover voting is considered to be a form of electoral fraud.

Democrats for McCain

GOP candidate's campaign pushing hard for crossover vote

The campaign of Sen. John McCain is working hard to get Democratic voters re-registered as Republicans in some state primaries in an effort to maximize his primary votes and secure the GOP presidential nomination in the fall.

A McCain spokesman said his campaign is sponsoring "big re-registration drives" currently under way "in key states like California" to re-register Democrats and independents who would then vote for McCain.

"We're doing a re-registration drive" for Democrats "to re-register as Republicans so their votes do count when they vote forJohn McCain," the spokesman said. "That's kind of one of our big issues.

"I can't really tell you we do it all the time, but we do as much as we can so that we can get the message out in states where your vote does not count," the spokesman said. The effort is specifically "directed at Democrats and independents who are registered to vote in the primaries in their state."

Go figure ...
