It is no surprise that there are an abundance of creative types that participate on the Lit boards. We have poets, photographers, painters, musicians, craft folks, dancers... I'm quite sure the list is very long.

Here is a place for people to share, and to appreciate, art created by the Lit family. I encourage kindness over criticism, and support over slander.

While erotic creations are welcome, the work you share here need not be erotic. The only rule is that the work you share is created by you.

In the spirit of this new thread, which owes a debt of gratitude to a thread started and ended by Chainzz, here's my first submission for your consideration:

Here are today's contributions:

Two images taken from the same photograph.

Enjoy, and please share some of your own creative efforts!

Trying to be consistent, and post at least one new thing each day.

Here are two:

Sometimes, i am in a poetic mood too...

Can you guess?

Mr Bruno, your shots are great! (No surprise there, eh?) I especially like the 3rd, simply because it is so.... unexpected. Can you explain the context of that shot?

Skipp, thanks for sharing! As you may have already guessed, I love close-up plant photography! Great detail, dramatic lighting, etc! Well done!

I hope you both continue to share more!

So, to carry on, now for something completely different:

I am a part time community journalist, and I was assigned to cover a local event. These pix were both taken just prior to the start of this event. Can you guess the nature of the event?

I love the light and amazing detail, very good!
Thanks bruno.

I'm not sure what the event is, but I like the costumes. They're so elegant.

Here's another shot of mine..

Oh, you are so lucky! I feel like the water is where I belong..especially during a sunset :D

You should come visit! I'd gladly show you around. I live in a very interesting, eclectic corner of Southern California. It was home to Cameron Diaz, Snoop, and a number of other celebs. The band Korn calls it home, as do some members of No Doubt. Spielberg and Steve Martin both went to school here.

There's a thriving art and music scene, a beautiful bay and harbor (no waves, though, due to the huge breakwater protecting the Ports.)

It has claimed to be the most diverse city in the nation, whatever that means, but I know of some very good, and authentic Vietnamese Pho restaurants.

Like I said, come!

That sounds like somewhere I've always wanted to go! I haven't made it there yet..but hopefully one day! Maybe I can meet up with you when I do ;)

Thanks for starting this thread! I like it already :)

That sounds like a dream, and if the nymph is there, then it's heaven!!

Thanks so much for participating! If you're ever planning to visit SoCal, drop me a line!

One more of the same place for you to enjoy...

Another beautiful shot, Mr Bruno! Thank you!

Skipp, I love those pink clouds! What else do you have to share?

For me, here's one not taken by me, but of me:

Lastly, I can't help but feel just a little disappointed that nobody ventured a guess as to the last set of pix. Ah well...

It was from the Annual Gay Pride Parade.

Great thread, Fflow! Beautiful photography here from different contributors. It actually makes me want to post some pics!

I was all doped up on sleeping meds last time I read this. Must've missed the picture in my sleepy state. If I saw that I so would've guessed that too. The disco studded pants kind of give it away. :p Oh well.
You play guitar? Nice! As do I. What kind of guitar you got?

What a great thread!

I'm a band photographer, might post some of my photos if I ever get up the nerve  In the meantime I will be checking here to see everyone else's work :)

Great topic and great stuff guys

Here's a song I wrote and played all the instruments on except the drums and lead guitar. A song about a man who yearns to be very naughty.
