I also have never smoked cigarettes, and only drink alcohol a couple of times a year. My body is so cocked up, I dont wanna add in anything that'd make it worse.

Having seen your posts on the other thread, I'd also warn you that if you've abused prescription meds in the past, you may caused damage to your liver/kidneys. That's another good reason not to bother with alcohol and risk further damage IMO.

Poppers aren't illegal to purchase in the UK. It's like that plant food fad, people can buy it but they're not supposed to use it as a drug.

I won't touch coke, crack, heroin, meth, etc. Just won't. Ever.
I view marijuana and booze in much the same light - fine in moderation - although from what I've seen, alcohol is a far, far nastier substance.
I live in the pot growing capital of Canada. Pretty much everyone grows their own around these parts - lots of old hippies and draft dodgers - so no terrorism funding going on.
And even though it's illegal, if a person gets caught smoking a joint here, um, nothing is going to happen. Nothing.
My body is my temple. My physical well being is extremely important to me and I would never risk damaging it through the abuse of drugs, (legal or otherwise) or alcohol.

Having interacted with folks from all over the globe, I've found that people in Canada, the UK, NZ and OZ tend to be very relaxed about cannabis. It's people from the US that seem to be most uptight about it and rank it up there with things like coke and crack. Booze is just fine in the US culture but pot? REEFER MADNESS!

I worked as a cocktail waitress as one of my jobs when I was in uni. Hoo boy, I saw a lot of drunk people. Loud, aggressive, abusive, lecherous...yuck. I've also seen a lot of people on cannabis in my time. No comparison. Night and day. And yet booze is legal and socially acceptable, go figure.
And cigarettes? How the fuck are they legal??
