Do you know your state flower?

Wow! That was really pretty. Thank you!

Oregon's state flower appears to be the "Oregon Grape." I had to look it up, but I knew my former state's flower quite well. Magnolia...said with a southern drawl. :D

"I love to smell the magnolias on a sultry summer morn'.

Yucca.

I think.

Spectacularly beautiful from a distance, but up-close physical intimacy can be painful.

Hmmmm. DONT TELL ME! Lessee, Charlie Crist is our governor...I GOT IT! PANSY!!!

That's just silly.

And Maine doesn't seem to have a flower. Wasn't that a pinecone?

Florida: State Flower-Orange Blossom. State Bird-Mosquito. :D

I don't just know my state flower, I grow it. My parkway is Cal poppies and irises. They're beautiful together in the spring.

Shit Florida has a whole Army of bugs. The Fleas are the scouts and skirmishers. The Fire Ants are the foot soldiers. The Cockroaches are the Armor with the Palmetto Bugs being the Mobile Fortresses. (The Spiders and Scorpions are of course the Special Forces.) Then we have the Florida Air Forces.

The No See Um's are the fighters and ground attack wing who call in the heavies, our specially grown Mosquitos who think that Deet is nothing more than a Flavor Enhancer like Catsup or Mustard.
