"Now I know I have a heart, because it's breaking"

Just be thankful she didn't eat your liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. Next time find someone a little more on healthy psychological footing and not a "rescue" from the pound of casual bdsm. You should know that more than anyone, right?

I don't wish heartache on anyone. I really don't. It's the worst kind of painful, and I feel for you.

But pain can be instructive, too. In which case, it's not a waste.

Maybe she did leave because she'd never had a childhood. Or because she just changed her mind. Or maybe she was nuts all along. Or was called home to her ancestral spawning ground. We'll never know, for sure. But maybe – and this is just a theory – maybe she left because you put her in a box (figurative or literal) and told her that any time she disagreed with you she was evil.

If it helps, when I read Collins now I imagine her wearing a blue gauzy thing.

Thanks for the link. Barkin looks too bleached for my personal taste.

Yes, that helps.

She's actually the first hot Jewish female celeb that popped into my head for some reason. I agree she's very bleached, but her personality and voice are kinda lusty.

I'm so glad she left since it proves she has a brain. I'd have left after an hour of listening to you.

BLoved You say you post here because you enjoy writing. I enjoy it myself, though humility usually prevents me from describing my writing as "eloquent." Writing can be cathartic. Posting in a forum consisting of people you attack and insult is anything but! Again, it makes no sense. It all suggests you're yanking our chain or you're an unbalanced individual. Or both.

I would have to be a few dozen people to have all the ailments and conditions you folk have heaped on me.

If the man doesn't believe as we do, we say he is a crank, and that settles it. I mean, it does nowadays, because now we can't burn him.

Actually, I was the first and only person to not box her in, to set her free to choose what she wants.

And up until today, she'd been saying what she wanted was our relationship.

While I have several theories of my own, she refused to discuss her decision beyond a few bits and pieces which may mean something, or may simply be her way to avoid further discussion.

I doubt I will ever know for sure what was going on.

I'm just giving you my impression.

Nice quote, but my impression has nothing to do with your beliefs and everything to do with your actions and behavior.

Maybe you came on to her too strong?

Either way, heartache sucks.

Also, have you thought of posting your stories, poems, essays, and treatises on the "Lit" side of this site? I'm sure they'd get a lot more attention there.

perspective...use it or lose it. But since it is all her fault, it won't a difference anyway.

Which suggests that your love for her was rather, uh, casual.

No. It reflects my standard before I can claim I know for sure.

If I do not hear it from her lips, and I have more than one viable theory, uncertainty results.

Those who burned 'witches' said much the same thing.

After all, we can't admit that we're tossing around psychological diagnoses for no better reason than the effect it has on the unsuspecting reader, can we?

Been there, done that.

How long do you think it will take the casual players and their advocates to vote everything I write down to page 101?

They've done it before, why should I believe they won't again?

I asked her what had changed.

I begged her to tell me.

You think you folk are the most important people I've got to worry about.

What about my mom? She met my Beloved several times, liked her, liked us together.

Yesterday my Beloved delivered a painting she'd done to welcome mom back from the hospital (cancer, hoo boy).

Now she's gone.

How do I explain what happened when my Beloved wouldn't tell me what was going on?

Kill yourself.

EDIT: Why you bring this shit to this message board i have no fucking idea.

Cease being a whining fuck (I dont doubt that you are) and sort your shit out. Fucking SORT. IT OUT. You have a blend of deluded, patronising, pseudointellectual ignorance that gets up the collective nose of this messageboard like lines of cayenne pepper, and it does not surprise me one bit that your shit is fucked up (you come across as a maniac)

fuck youuuuuuuu

Inflammatory, again. Evaluating the behavior before me -- making a judgment which you agree we all are capable of doing -- is akin to the persecution of so-called witches. Interesting, since you feel free to label actions dysfuctional, predatory, and abuse.

You call something dysfunctional/abuse/rape. Someone disagrees. You say, ah, just like a lynch mob/heroin addict/witch persecutor/rapist/abuser. And after heaping on all of that abuse, you continue to find ways to keep all this going.

And I'm sorry to hear it ended. Not surprised though, but it still sucks.
Not knowing the reason sucks even more as it leaves you wondering.

It might be her, it might be you, it might be that it was just not meant to be.

And those who burned witches wouldn't have bothered to spend this much time talking to you.

Speaking of insulting and immature.
